He was 35 years older than her and took naked photos of her and left them out. He is a creep. Maureen O'Sullivan was so bothered by the way Allen applied sunscreen to Dylan that she had to leave the CT compound. Mia should have put a stop to it a lot sooner.

The fact that any father could ever look at their daughter, even adopted, as a potential wife is just so wrong. If he could step over that line then anything’s possible.

Especially with a powerful director being accused who surely knows how to deal with press, lie, and has connections in media to squash the story and spin it into something completely different. He's just one of the many sickening people in Hollywood and elsewhere at that level of wealth and fame. I couldn't care any less about what the "investigators" or press have to say about it. It happened, plain and simple but that old monster should be brought to justice

@@rl12345 Yale-New Haven report : All raw interviews destroyed, thus could not be verified. They gave their report to Allen and not the court who commanded it. People were threatened, paid off by Allen. PIs followed them, harassed them. All people around Dylan supported what happened in spite of this. NY investigator said he believed her, was told to change his viewpoint, refused to and was promptly fired for subordination. Don't be so selective with the facts, dear.

@eternity7477 The New York investigator Paul Williams was determined to NOT be an expert in child abuse by Judge Wilk and his testimony was dismissed by the Judge. Williams never interviewed Dylan and he based his opinion on a conversation with another investigator who initially believed Dylan but changed her mind after further interviews with Dylan since none of Dylan's stories were consistent.

@eternity7477 No one supported Dylan's accusation. Mia's own lawyer Eleanor Alter stated she had no idea if it actually happened. Mia's own hand selected psychological witness also stated he did not know if the incident actually occurred.

It's a very sick, vicious circle that truly destroys one's innocence. This isn't the first time Dylan has made this claim, and I think she's been very courageous through her ordeal. Fun fact: the mother told the family therapist that she thought Woody’s interest in their daughter was sexual - A YEAR BEFORE THE BREAKUP. Look it up, it’s in the court records for their custody hearing.

You are misrepresenting a fact here. Mia Farrow told the therapist about her concern. In the same court document you quoted, this is what the family therapist said: "I understood why she was worried, because it [Mr. Allen's relationship with Dylan] was intense, … I did not see it as sexual, but I saw it as inappropriately intense because it excluded everybody else, and it placed a demand on a child for a kind of acknowledgment that I felt should not be placed on a child …" The inappropriate behaviour as referred to by the family therapist was that Allen was too intense with Dylan Farrow to the point that it excluded other adopted children of Mia Farrow.

Hello Ruth Nolan, I have good news for you: 1. Soon-Yi was NOT Allen's adopted daughter. She was the adopted daughter of Mia Farrow and André Previn. 2. Allen was NOT a 'father' to Soon-Yi, and Soon-Yi not a 'daughter' to Allen in any way. Soon-Yi's father was André Previn, and this stayed that way throughout her childhood. Soon-Yi herself has found the idea of Allen being her father 'laughable'. 3. Allen was NOT married to Mia Farrow, and did not live in her household to which Soon-Yi belonged. 4. Allen and Soon-Yi had LITTLE OR NO contact throughout her adolescence. It was at the instigation of Mia Farrow that, after Soon-Yi graduated from high school, she and Allen spent more time together. 5. Their romance did NOT start until Soon-Yi was an adult of 20 years of age. The couple got married when she was 26 or 27, and this has lasted as a stable and harmonious marriage until today. Now you know some of the facts, I hope you see reason to reassess your evaluation of WA as 'creepy-perverted'. From my part, I can understand that people have moral qualms with WA cheating on Mia Farrow, particularly with her (adult) adopted daughter. I have such qualms myself. But this does NOT prove - or even indicate - that the 'abuse' allegation is true. It does not prove that Dylan Farrow is a sexual abuse survivor. I wish assault allegations were taken seriously. If predators were prosecuted it might end this horrible nightmare. I don't understand why people ignore this, sweep it under the rug & just let it go on.

He belongs in prison. Seven year olds do not make up stories like that. My friend was molested as a child by a relative. Her mom was the only one who believed her...everyone in the extended family didn’t, and the person that molested her denied it repeatedly until weeks later. I have another friend who was abused by a cousin and no one in her family believed her. How in the world do people not believe children?! 96% of children who report abuse are telling the truth. We need to stand with these victims who have been silenced for so long. Dylan Farrow, thank you for being so brave and going up against the angry, hypocritical, and cruel media and public. otters are awsome have you been following the #metoo conversation? Even though this has centered mostly on grown women in the workforce, many have told experiences from when they were children. I know of quite a few more people than I even mentioned. The horrible truth is that children being molested is not uncommon.

In one of his movie (brilliant movie otherwise) he depicts his love affair with a 17 years old. The terms used in the way he portrays everything about it always disturbed me. They appeared to be the fantasy of a grown man more than an accurate account of what a 17 y/o girl would do or feel.

mickthenick1 well when an artist makes public his fantasies in a work of art people are going to react to it. I do not know what happened between dylan and him when dylan was a little girl. But I know I found this portrayal of his love story with the girl in Manhattan a bit disturbing. He obviously used to like very young women and teens and I know that was common in his time as growing up I encountered red this mentality but that doesn't make it right from a female point of view

A lot of the story makes no sense whatsoever. None of the kids allege any abuse prior to this incident. Somehow Mia managed to get supervised visitation ordered. The interviewer should act unbelieving because they will inspire the person being interviewed to try to explain it better. You go to better lengths to explain an event when you are speaking to an untrusting audience. Also, bringing up contradicting information will allow Dylan to dispute it, rather than leave them open for discussion later.

Actually she changed her story multiple times throughout the investigation and still her story doesn't make sense considering multiple facts don't add up, such as the fact she so vividly described an electric train moving in circle when there was never a train set up there, never mind electric, never mind there was no working electric outlets in the attic so there couldn't even be a functioning electric train.

Reinforcing false memories will do that. You don't remember things that way buddy. If you think of a memory your brain will fill in almost everything that you might not hold on to. Also I know for a fact that a parent coaching you to say things WILL stick out more in your mind. Id say that if the mom did coach her in to this, that would be a lifetime of abuse that will be next to impossible to get over. Because you might never know the truth.

I am glad she finally decided to speak up live about this horrible incident.. I read her letter last year, believed it even since then.. and was sad that it didn't get much attention. From all of the evidence I've seen I think the most likely scenario is that Farrow coached and manipulated a young, suggestible Dylan. Dylan's therapist assessed her as being prone to fantasy. Two of Farrow's children paint a picture of Farrow as an abusive and manipulative mother and she had a huge grudge against Allen.
