Easy Languages is an international video project aiming at supporting people worldwide in learning languages through authentic street interviews. Our videos also give an opportunity to gain insight into cultural and social phenomena of different countries and peoples around the world. Our episodes are produced in different languages and include subtitles in both the original language of each video and in English. We also produce videos in easy and slower language for beginners, podcasts in the different languages of the project and additional learning material to provide a broader learning experience for anyone interested!

Hartelijk bedankt . Ik verstaan u Nog steeds goed . Jeroen and Mario , groetjes van AFRIKA 😊😊.
Bedankt!
europa-pa-pa 😂
I am American and studied in Belgium. Most of these are the same or similar to those in Belgium. The one grabbing something that isn't there, in front of the face, I thought was more like, "that's crazy", or "that was a crazy thing to say." Like a crazy person seeing something that isn't really there. I didn't know the one asking for the bill. I think the Belgian one for let's go, let's leave, or go away, is palm down waving with one hand under the other hand, similar to the Italian and Spanish versions that use a sideways hand.

Grabbing something invisible in front of your face indeed means that something or someone is weird or crazy. The translation of that gesture corresponds to "hij vangt" (he's catching).
Bravo Mario 🇮🇹
Dankejewel ❤

Guys, the Dutch people wink also a lot and I find it super crazy. I haven’t seen winking in the video ( otherwise your videos are great)

what does dopen mean...kijk sit je doppen
@EasyDutch
You mean "dop" (plural: doppen). A "dop" is a cap of a bottle. In the the very informal expression "Kijk uit je doppen!" it means "eyes". (Dopen (with 1 p) = to baptize)
