DRUNK ELEPHANT 🐘🆕🐘 F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial Mask First Impressions Review

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I'm so excited to finally have a chance to give you my first impressions of the new Drunk Elephant F-Balm Electrolyte WaterFacial Mask. I've been stalking the mask since it first came out.
My biggest concern with the F-Balm Mask was the use of little spheres full of vitamin F. I tend to find little speheres or gel bubbles a bit of a nuisance. They tend to not explode fully, sit on top of the skin, or they can separate from the rest of the lotion and leave little clumps on skin. Drunk Elephant did a good job with this, The little spheres explode quickly and mix into the rest of the mask easily.
The F-Balm layers well with other products and gives skin a boost of hydration. I love that this is fragrance, denatured alcohol, and cruelty free.

I’ve looked forward to your review of this product! I ordered some from DE and just got the shipping notice that it is on the way. Maybe the reason DE works for me is that I’ve got dry skin that doesn’t really break out. Thanks for your review - always insightful and very helpful!

@@ixchel003 Oh okay thanks for the info! I've never had to contact their customer service and I don't use social media at all so I hadn't heard about that. Nobody likes to hear negative things about themselves, but as a brand they need to hear them and improve. Especially at their prices! Some companies may not be able to make changes to products but they are priced reasonably enough that you can't really expect them to without raising the price. If we're paying $60 for a FACE LOTION, the least they can do is make sure they're making that product the very best they can!

I think you’re right about Drunk Elephant being targeted for people with dry skin. I started using their tinted sunscreen this past fall and I’m absolutely loving it for drying weather, but I think I’m probably going to have to give it a rest in the summer months.

I love that PC mask, I always keep a backup if it. It does a nice job hydrating skin without irritating ingredients. I love to mix it with other products occasionally as well. It's great for that. My skin is so much less dry today, I added another humidifier in my bedroom last night and it seems to be paying off! 😁

Do you layer this over vanicream? I see a bottle of it in the background. I typically use vanicream as the last step in my nighttime routine, but am thinking it may be too occlusive to get any benefits from the F-Balm on top of it. What are your thoughts?

First though I am going to do a TCA peel, 15%. Ordering it tonight. I want to get a few peels in first then do the microneedling. Thank you for all the research you do! And being a test subject ;) nice day in Wisconsin, hoping the same for you.

Haha yes what is it with dogs and vacuum cleaners? My aunts dog will chase and bark at the vacuum, and he’s a miniature pincher, this lil guy 😂 So I was really interested in trying this and my skin is combo-oily depending on the weather and I am sensitive to drag fe, essential oils ect but idk if this would irritate my skin. I don’t think it would but not sure, what a bummer I don’t know what to do. Thanks for the review. 💜

I've got a few faves of mine. My favorite serum of all time is the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum. Great for he hydrating skin, a bit of anti-aging, and plumping skin. The Ordinary Buffet Serum is great and affordable as well. The Estee Lauder Advanced Night Reset Serum is a great one with a very long list of beneficial ingredients, it's pricey, but it's a great do-it-all type product. If you're looking for something to just add a bit of Hydration to skin an oil like The Inkey List Rosehip Night Oil might be a good way to go as well. Have you tried any of those before!

No BS Beauty Thanks for replying, I haven’t used any of those before I usually use a vitamin c serum in the morning followed by a moisturiser with spf 30, then night time double cleanse tone and wanted a good serum just to help premature aging then I use the body shop vitamin e oil. I’ve heard the earlier u take care of ur skin the better which has made me quite paranoid about what I should be using. So any recommendations I’m all for! I was thinking of the algenist collagen serum but not sure if that’s aimed at my age

I bet if you laid off the extreme ODing of actives on your skin, it would eventually recover from the chemical burns you're inflicting on it. Actives are great. Overdoing anything, especially these ingredients and using them in multiples all the time and at the same time, thins and harms your skin. Sometimes permanently.
