Oh yeah! Was their first higher production car and really got Lamborghini on the map for producing good cars!

You get so excited, it's fun to watch. I can't imagine owning something like this. Would be funny to have a subscriber live along some of these routes and see you going by. Great video.

Yeah they are so cool to see out on the roads! We see a ton at our local Cars and Coffee. So the Huracan is like a Honda civic to me lol. But I never see Gallardos. So these are always special!

Yeah this was at the tail end of cassette players in cars. Most expensive cars would still have the old stuff because they new people buying these were older people. Awesome car to drive!

I know what you mean. That kick in the back on the up change. My 17 R8 Plus will do it still but only in manual Performance mode or launching. But it adds to the drama in the best way. 👌

Thanks man! And I'm used to my Nissan GTR with 700 HP. 0-60 is 2.7 seconds. THe Gallardo is a fun car that is quick. But even a stock Supra is faster then this by a lot from 0-60 lol

We had a 1st Gen 2008 Gallardo for an entire day, but it didn’t have the higher pitched sound this one does :( still sounded absolutely amazing though and it was a blast, I think it was one of the ones with an updated exhaust or something

Yeah this had an exhaust on it. Not sure which one, but it was awesome sounding! Great car for sure and I cant wait to buy one!

1st gen Gallardo has the best sounding V10 ever. Beats the 2nd gen Gallardo, Huracan, and even the LFA. Sad that they ditched this engine for the Audi engine

It’s alcantara. So it’s pretty matted after 30k miles. Downside with Alcantara. Every year they need to be refreshed so they look good. I’d stick with leather.

I agree! I’m not a big fan of the original Huracan. Huracan EVO is way better! But I’ll stick with the Gallardo. Love the old school design

I'm sure you've heard of the UGR Lambo pumping 1500hp Underground racing has totally changed the opinion of that car- When you see one nowadays most gearheads think UGR Lambo..

Yeah underground racing is right around the corner from me. A ton of their cars come out to our car shows! Several twin turbo Huracans, R8’s and even Aventadors here! Would love to drive one

I've heard the Lamborghini clutch is pretty bad. But there are some really good aftermarket ones that can last a good 30k miles or more

C8 is certainly much faster and more modern. But I love the old school aspects to this!

Did you know that it’s actually 0-62, not 0-60? Because manufacturers test their vehicles from 0 to 100 kilometres an hour, and 100 kilometres an hour is 62 miles an hour.

Hmm. The 458 is a better car for sure. But I am a Lambo fan and have dreamt about owning one since I was 10. So the second gen Gallardo is my goal for sure! But I can see at some point getting a 458
