Dreams Come True with Cheech and Chong | Something’s Burning | S3 E20

Комедия

I’m living out every college kid’s fantasy today - when Cheech and Chong stop by the kitchen for a little cooking and a lot of conversation. And you guessed it - we light it up. A lot. They’ve got stories to tell and I am here for them all. Plus, we chat movies, merch, and I make birria ramen.

When I was in 4th or 5th grade my mom and dad came home from a date night and my dad was laughing so hard. He told me he seen the funniest movie ever made and it was called Up In Smoke. The very next day he went out and bought me the cassette tape from the movie. I was 10 years old. My dad was a huge stoner back in the 70's.

Dave’s not here.” 🤣 Twenty five years later my teenaged son repeated the entire dialogue from the album without missing a single word. I rolled again! 🤣 Next, I remember how Cheech Marin was on Jeopardy and wiped the floor with every challenging celebrity contestant on there! We both rolled off the couch! 😂🤣😅. 1975 listening to Big Bambu in a friend's garage. Cool Dad's always had a turntable in the garage back then. Also, had a 45 copy of Santa Claus and His Old Lady which I would play on the family stereo during the Holidays. Saw all the movies at the Drive-In. Cheech and Chong was always cutting edge and kept us all entertained for decades. Thank You Bert for bringing in these legends! Hammmmbuurrrger!

Me and my teenage friends watched the Cheech & Chong movies on rental with weed back in the early and mid 80s. We laughed our collective asses off. They are heroes to us and we never forgot them. I swear we used their sayings and quotes after we were married even. Oh man those were the days. I had such a crush on Tommy's daughter Rae Dawn in the 80s. Oh GOD I wish I could have been there to smoke weed with the legends.
