Comments, Question and Answers
01:01:35 - Question/Answer: Do you have advice for African American parents who wish to encourage their children who may or may not come from a strong academic background to go out and engage the world positively?
01:06:17 - Question/Answer: As you look back over your life, what have you accomplished that you think has been (in your idea most pleasing to Allah SWT?
01:09:33 - Comment: As a child I saw my dad watch Muhammad Ali and he was excited to see his success as a Muslim…It has always been the African Americans at the forefront of pushing change and its good to see the push still happening.
01:14:19 - Question/Answer: Being an outwardly practicing sister, what is your advice on portraying yourself as a Muslimah in the academic world and retaining a strong sense of identity?
01:19:28 - Question/Answer: I hear you refer to Allah as "He" and growing up I had problems identifying God as in a patriarchal sense how all of the Abrahamic faiths do. What do you think about that?
01:29:45- Question/Answer: You speak on rigid literalism. It seems that rigid literalism in the African American community is a pushback towards authority, is that what you think. And two, what is your advice in dealing with rigid literalism as they move forward beyond this institution?
01:35:35 - Question/Answer: Being around a lot people in the engineering field, the cool thing to believe in is Athiesm. How do you stay resolute in a non or anti Islamic environment and whats your stance on questioning things within Islam as it has been told to not question things in religion?
01:42:15 - Question/Answer: What advice would you give to Arab/Middle East/Southeast Asian Muslims about the importance of reaching outside their own communities to indigenous African American communities?
01:46:06 - Question/Answer: In speaking on the genomes holding markers of trauma from things like slavery and its effects, did you experience any "Post Traumatic Slave Disorder"? If not, do you have any advice for anybody experiencing any of those things?
01:49:58 - Question/Answer: Can you help us with the linkage of saying Racism is shirk?
01:54:51 - Question/Answer: What would you say to an Atheist to help them believe?
02:03:16 - Comment: I see a lot of African American youth in Prison and I think of a line of poetry from Imam Ali (RAA), "Youth is a form of insanity and its only cure is
old age". I just wanted to say that I have learned from working in the prison system that you cannot imprison the soul that Allah ta'3la has given us…
02:11:07 - Question/Answer: You mentioned that we are in a powerful position, we just have to act, what was your intention and vision? And in regards to you be a Muslim leader what are some challenges you faced professionally and personally?

I really appreciate the dear sister’s lecture. Very enlightening and informative. I was born in his faith and 45 years old I come from a community that is 80 years old that resides in Atlanta Georgia we’ve had a school for many many decades from pre-k to 12 grade and is named after Imam Warth Deen Mohammed. This sister can learn from my community when it comes to this great man if it wasn’t for Allah blessing this man to make the transition, Islam wouldn’t have flourished as it did in the United States paving the way for other Muslims from all walks to be here in the United States.

The answer to the question posed at -42:33 Is simply to be Muslim because muslims are supposed to be viewing the Ummah as one, ask Allah(sp) to remove that disease from your heart because that’s what it is the end of the day….you may harbor some type of indifference towards other Muslims. Refer to the last sermon of our dear Prophet’s (s.a.w) last sermon.

in the languages who has she and he god will be always called with a he or she. For example, in Turkish there is no he or she it is only one sexless pronoun which is "O" so they never attribute any sexuality to God linguistically.

Dear Professors and Students of Zaytuna College, Dr.Fatimah said we are in a powerful position and we just have to act, and it is true. The post-modern people are well-equipped with "i'lm"[knowledge] and the latest technology. In Indonesia, there is a group of people who uses this combination of "knowledge" and "technology" fully utilized. This group of people calls themselves "Team Las Los"[TLL]. TLL uses the combination of "du'a"[the Quranic verses]with the latest technology of photography, that is video. With the combinations, TL makes the "Unseen" [Satan, ghosts, roh/spirit...?]to be "seen" in the real world and be filmed live. Well, we can call this TLL as the "Ghostbusters." It's up to you. But, TLL's findings really defy logic. They can be the basis of the argument for those atheists that there are "Unseen things" that are beyond their logical contemplation. We can't deny the fact that there is the Unseen! TLL members indirectly prove to us that we can communicate with the Unseen. To cut it short, if there is the Unseen, there must be the science of the unseen because if there is the Unseen, there must be the "Most Unseen One" or "Zat Gha'ibul Wujud" or "Zat Gha'ibul Gha'ib"[that is "Allah SWT"]. Why not one of your students or professors do contact TLL and do research about this phenomenon? Here are some of the experiment by TLL that defy logic; [1]. kzread.info/dash/bejne/pad4sbeOnK2ydag.html(Title: "Jadi Siluman, Isteri Menangis Di Saat Ditemukan & Tetap Anggap Suami") [2]. kzread.info/dash/bejne/i2l3qc6LnrS7c9Y.html(Title: "Manusia Kuntilanak 230 Tahun Tetap Muda Dan Tidak Bisa Tua:Edisi Special.") [3]. kzread.info/dash/bejne/hp-grNGenc6-mrw.html(Title: "Ayu - Si Anak Setan Berubah Jadi Manusia Cantik") [4]. kzread.info/dash/bejne/g3t1lq2vdtO7osY.html(Title: "Malaikat Penolong Ibu Hamil:Lindungi Kandungan Calon Penerus Ulama Besar.") [5].kzread.info/dash/bejne/m3-h2tKyY82umbQ.html(Title: "Pedang Emas Penembus 7 Alam: Tak Sengaja Masuk Kerajaan Ghaib Gantarawang.") [60....and many more!!! Note: There are no camera tricks. Those videos are real! If anyone wants a further explanation, please contact TLL[Team Las Los]. drel/17.08.2022'12:00p.m.

@@Katlady001 You assume that I don't know because I am not Muslim; plus, you, like most people of the books, refuse to acknowledge that some these scriptures are manmade, and interpreted according to a specific, cultural era. I will concede that these religions, especially Islam, have a consistent moral behavioral pattern; however, the elite (Imams, Sheikhs) have presented the tenets according to their traditional, and cultural inclinations. Racism, classism, ethnocentrism, colorism, as you know lurks within the ranks of all people of religion. Slavery and Islam for example.

Mohammed kept black slaves( inspiring the still on going and thriving Islamic slave trade) and he also mocked them by calling them raisin heads and said that Shaytan looked like a Black man. The word Abd and Abeed mean both slave and black. Who do you think taught the Europeans all about the slave trade? While the slaves( 1 women for every 2 men) bound for Europe and the Americas were for agricultural work the Islamic slave trade because it was mostly used for sex trafficking( to satisfy the sexual desires of jihadists) imported 2 women for every man. The male slaves were immediately castrated.
