@@towenaar4142 yes! I have lost many a chicken to foxes! That's prey to them! That's like saying that all lions should be killed because of the way they "brutally" kill antelopes & zebras!? A coop full of chickens is easy picking for a fox they don't have any concept of "theft" We (& some of our friends) started to put food out for the foxes & for 3 years now they haven't gone near our chickens!! It's a matter of respect.

I think Biscuit is just keeping guard so Cookie can have a less stressful snack time 😊

That what I was thinking, now the daughter takes care if their vulnerable mother, Cookie's view isn't the best idk if it's bc of the injury or what it is, but the young and fit daughter takes care now as her guardian, so beautiful🫶💞🫶

It’s absolutely abhorrent and horrific that anyone could sadistically hunt and kill these beautiful animals , Hunting of all wild animals should be banned completely.

Agreed. Tho, and I say this bc I was doing some research into how long urban foxes live. At this point roadways are their biggest threats. Especially for males spreading out to look for mates. Not to discount the sometimes predatory behavior of humans. Cheers

If you were to set out some camomile tea and encourage them to drink it along with their chicken it will help to get rid of infections. It's actually a strong antibiotic. Also tumouric with the chicken is very healthy for them too. Lots of dense nutrition. They are looking great. Treating internal parasites might still be needed though. The horse paste will work perfectly.

@Lady Hawk thanks we do have a wildlife vet and the local fox angels foundation that have daily updates and discussions about the best way forwards

Beautiful. I feed the wild foxes in my rural area with anything I don't eat when I've been hunting, the mother followed me home one time and I got a video. I could tell they were mother and daughter right away!

I think this lady knows better that to keep feeding them, I think she is just giving the girl some meds for her eyes. Beautiful lady for caring for the wildlife. I wish there was a way for us to put food with vaccines in it, I just had to shoot another rabid raccoon the other day. The lady who’s property it was has her cat in quarantine. She did have her shots but I think it’s just to be safe.
