UPDATE: So it appears that there's a new foxlet in town...this little Fawzy guy...whose little nose may be even cuter than Finnegan's. Much smaller though...maybe like a currant or small blueberry (think of a wild blueberry); I think Mikayla would have to >boop< it with just the tip of her pinkie.

He's a gorgeous fellow. But to be fair to the rest, all their coats are in such beautiful condition. I'm more used to seeing urban foxes and I feel so sorry for them with their hard lives trying to find food in people's dustbins, and their leaner frames compared to these foxes who are given treats and so much love.

These fur farm foxes have been bred to have much thicker fur than wild foxes, so while they are likely leaner, most of the difference you see is probably fur thickness.

Mikayla and Finnegan are inseparable! The bestest of friends! Love his laugh...it never gets old!💙❄️🦊

Finny is a lucky fox to have her has a human best friend, who cares about him. Making sure he is well fed and a place for him to sleep. Finny is very happy and enjoys the human touch of affection.

At the zoo where I volunteer we have two black and white ruffed lemurs who I know for about 9 years now. For the first half and a bit of the pandemic their enclosure was closed so I couldn't visit them. The single best thing that has happened to me during the pandemic so far was when the enclosure was re-opened and they still recognized me. They came out to greet me in the morning like this whole bullshit never happened...
