Its because they are an emotional wreck. They are not supposed to be locked up. They are searching for something that is never met in that environment. They just do not know what it is. Hey, there!.. South African, here.. I am watching your video and I am smiling at the scheer joy these animals are showing when you arrived home.. Its so sweet!.. You know - the jackal and fox are very common, especially in north-western South Africa and throughout Namibia.. When we drive up north from Cape Town, one will be able to see them next to the road, especially during the nights when its cooler.. The howling of jackals are very common when you for example camp out in the open and you lay in your tent next to your campfire, underneath the stars.. (Mind the lions, though!).. Its the most beautiful sound, and when your jackal tilted it's head backwards and howled, it brought a big smile to my face.. 😊

As a Vet with really bad PTSD issues, I wish I could hang out at your sanctuary and play with the animals all day. While it is very hard for me to be around people, I feel safe around animals and only then can I let my guard down.

I have Complex PTSD, and I know how you feel! With animals you always know exactly where you stand, because they are always honest with you (even when they're trying to manipulate you - I'm thinking of my cats here, you can see their thoughts written on their faces! 😂❤)! My pets not just make me feel safe, but they give me life and bring me joy! Animals are the best form of therapy! 😊❤️

That is really a jackal? They look like the foxes we have in MN. We had a family of foxes living in our woods. I have Newfies & the 15 lb Momma would stand her ground against my 202 lb male newfy it was the craziest thing I ever seen.

@@BronyNumber4096 kinda, when there just pups they learn vocalizations from the adults, the first vocal they learn is saying in there own language: Mama!!! Mama where are you!!!! And “ food!!!!!” As they older im assuming that they learn as they get older like “help” “regroup” “danger” etc.

Its because they are an emotional wreck. They are not supposed to be locked up. They are searching for something that is never met in that environment. They just do not know what it is. But it is not there. Not saying that they are mistreated or anything, but people are the only outlet for their needs.

Channels like this one are so important for people to see that wild animals are also creatures with feelings and an own character. These foxes are tame but it gives us a good idea of the beautiful and smart creatures that they are. They are so much more than a piece of a fur coat on 4 paws.

I am thankful to see no one saying things like "You shouldn't have wild animals as pets" or "They should be in the wild, where they would be happier." because honestly, people need to realize there's a difference between keeping a random wild animal as a pet and rescuing them while deciding whether or not they would be able to survive in the wild.

Hey, there!.. South African, here.. I am watching your video and I am smiling at the scheer joy these animals are showing when you arrived home.. Its so sweet!.. You know - the jackal and fox are very common, especially in north-western South Africa and throughout Namibia.. When we drive up north from Cape Town, one will be able to see them next to the road, especially during the nights when its cooler.. The howling of jackals are very common when you for example camp out in the open and you lay in your tent next to your campfire, underneath the stars.. (Mind the lions, though!).. Its the most beautiful sound, and when your jackal tilted it's head backwards and howled, it brought a big smile to my face.. 😊
Nothing like being greeted by your furbabies. The amount of love and excitement that they have really brings a smile to my face.

I'm so sorry for all of us! Losing someone furry is so devastating! The bonded connection and closeness sometimes surpasses the loss of a human. 💔 Especially rough when you have others around you that don't get it.

@@ragefurious5650 Yeah, people used to think European forest cats were dangerous, bloodthirsty pests because they live in the forest and are mostly nocturnal. Never mind that domestic cats are the exact same species.

As a Vet with really bad PTSD issues, I wish I could hang out at your sanctuary and play with the animals all day. While it is very hard for me to be around people, I feel safe around animals and only then can I let my guard down.

I have Complex PTSD, and I know how you feel! With animals you always know exactly where you stand, because they are always honest with you (even when they're trying to manipulate you - I'm thinking of my cats here, you can see their thoughts written on their faces! 😂❤)! My pets not just make me feel safe, but they give me life and bring me joy! Animals are the best form of therapy! 😊❤️

I love animals...but not hugging the ones who peed in my house and rolled in it love animals. We had a dog like that growing up who my parents took to, "go live on a farm".
I really believe that animals are the best judges of people. The way that ALL of your animals respond to you with adoration, shows what a kind and caring person you truly are, Love and respect from Cape Cod.
