Honestly this thing probably hadn't eaten or drank in 2 or 3 days, and after finally getting a chicken or two I'm sure Kevin pecked the hell of it and chased it around all night. That coyote was a combination of dazed, confused, starving, thirsty, and traumatized. A wild coyote meeting Kevin would also probably be like a human being discovering velociraptors are still alive and then getting into a fight with one.
@KaBar41
Жыл бұрын
Not to be that guy, but velociraptors were about the size of a turkey. A Human would more than likely win 99% of encounters with a velociraptor. Though a raptor likely could have easily killed this coyote. J.Park raptors were just deinonychus that had their names changed to velociraptor.

Hello ! May Allah protect and guide you to his light and happiness in this life and the hereafter, God bless, Ameen. Excuse me for giving a little presentation of Islam, because it is very misunderstood nowadays, especially on those « Antichrist's » times, where media and politics are mixed to distort history and truth. And terrorists (puppets of the Antichrist) who misinterpret verses, out of ignorance and political motivations, and take them out of historical context (just like radical atheists do by the way), don't help either. Thank you very much for your time. Islam is an arabic word that means the Surrender to the One and Only God, our Creator, Protector, Provider, who gives us life and all that we have, we are safe and sound by his will and grace, we are His and to Him we return, and we have to thank him in this trial life by submitting to him by our free will, or later in the Day of judgment when it's too late to save our own skin. Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124 000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces and completes the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism, and return it to purity and true monotheism, like it was in the times of the prophets (Peace and blessing be upon them). Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI). Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy. Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful. Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI). Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. And those who feel too proud to serve Him and glory in their arrogance [should know that on Judgment Day] He will gather them all unto Himself: (171-172 / Translated by Muhammad Asad). Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning! Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures. Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement. It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them. (19-22 / Translated by Muhammad Asad).. Salam (Peace) --------------------

Coyotes specifically are rather weak among canines. They don't have as high a bite force, and their teeth aren't as long and sharp as wolves go. They can kill stuff that's smaller than them and certainly do better in a pack against 1 target. But they often get beaten by anything larger than them. Including Emu's like Kevin, who can and will gladly kick and peck the shit out of them.

The coyote wasn't feral. It was wild. A feral animal is a domestic animal that never had an owner before. This is what differentiates them from strays who as their name suggests, strayed away from their home. Also, no matter how friendly a domesticated animal is, as long as it was born and survived without humans, it's feral.

Bro Kevin built like a level avengers threat.
I worked in wild dog rehabilitation for nearly a decade (Coyotes, wolves, strays, and even foxes at times) Coyotes are far more intelligent than you would think is possible. They will stare at you and submit because they know they have lost, and you would have already killed them if you wanted to. They are mostly scavengers, and females are far more docile than males. With her looking to be around a year old she is most likely just submitting and exhausted. They are obviously dangerous when cornered, but they know humans will usually always win a fight one on one. They also are not fully nocturnal, and often sleep whenever they want to. Coyotes are much closer to canis familiaris than any other canine, and usually will quickly give up after a short struggle.

I SEE YOU EVERYWHERE HOW!?
I love how since the dogs aren't coming out during the day Kevin has been made the de facto guardian of the ranch, scaring wild coyotes so much they would rather be taken to a cage than let Kevin get them.
We had a male coyote that mated with our female dog when I was young..I remember it basically moved in to our property and became domestic. I recall petting it.. it may have been a hybrid already but was mostly coyote for sure!
I lived in South Padre Island, Tx & used to see coyotes running on the sand flats. Fast forward, I live next to Vancouver B.C. ( western Canada)next to Capilano Rainforest & to my surprise an animal the size of deer, appeared in our adjoining yard. It was a northern Pacific West coyote species more like a wolf. Sadly cougar, bears, coyotes are often killed rather than relocating, how "officials" respond - my heart sank about you reporting this little guy who needs a kindly human to help him out. As you said, " like a dog". The land & habitat was once theirs. I hope there was a fair solution Ben. 🐕💞
Love how Kevin went through a genuine redemption arc. He started off as an abusive father/husband and an antagonistic sociopath to anybody else. Then, he got banished from his home due to his despicable behavior. In his banishment, he learned that he can be a better person and help those in need with his remarkable capabilities that he once used only for evil. Dude, I love helping and studying animals, I wanna build a sanctuary to for rehabilitation and help lessen the strays in my country When I'm old enough. you really inspire me, it's fun to see you do such amazing things!
I have never seen this channel before but I love this guy. He has such a passion and compassion for animals of all shapes and sizes, it is so nice to see. Most jerks would probably shoot their bb guns at the Coyote instead of trying to gently remove it from their property while saying what a beautiful animal it is. Most people see coyotes as a nuisance animal. Having had family members and myself lose a cat from Coyotes has turned me off of them and having a small dog and seeing them around my neighborhood does kind of freak me out. But every time I've seen one which is about 5 times they just run away even when my little dog is with me. It's so funny this one lady at my apartment got one of those Coyote vests for her little dog with all of the spikes sticking out of them and the crazy long straw like looking things. The dog was in absolutely no danger, it was in the middle of the day with a bunch of people around and a lot of activity going on and she was just walking her dog around the apartment building. I've only seen coyotes in my neighborhood at night or early in the morning I did actually I see one in the middle of the day but it was on the trail not by my apartment which is surrounded by shopping center on 2 sides and townhouses on the other 2 sides. Anyway it was hilarious this poor dog looked so embarrassed wearing his Coyote vest but I guess it's better to be safe than sorry. I know if a Coyote ever came after my dog that Coyote would regret it. When I was younger my brother's friend's mom was attacked while walking their beagle Lucky. Lucky was a former movie star star, he was in the episode of Malcolm in the middle when Reese decides to join the dog pack. My brother's friend's mom was tiny like not even 5' tall and super petite. Her and Lucky fought off the Coyotes however in the process she managed to break her arm and Lucky did have to go to the vet and get a few stitches but in the end his name held true and he got really Lucky. In this case it was a pack not an individual. That happened in Fullerton California in a very nice neighborhood. I now live in Brea in a very nice neighborhood my point being they can come out from anywhere. So always be on guard if you are walking your small dog or if you think it's a good idea to let your cat outside. Anyway I just want to give this guy props because it's really cool I think what he is doing and I just love seeing somebody so Excited and Compassionate Over an animal most people think are not worth a dime. I actually love coyotes, when I'm driving in the desert and see one running around I get all excited. Last Thanksgiving me and my family went to Catherine's landing, a place we used to go to all the time when we were little to go water skiing and enjoy the lake and the surrounding environment. The last time we were there we brought our 2 little dogs and there were coyotes literally right next to us everywhere, right over a little hill bank. You could hear them so clearly and loud when they would howl. My fiance was super freaked for our dog safety and made me keep Tripper inside even though I was Holding him and had my brother and dad and fiance right next to us. I was fascinated we used a flashlight because it was dark out and we wanted to see one and it was so cool when we saw one poking its head up. I love seeing wild animals in their natural habitat just not in my neighborhood or if I had one in my backyard. To the guy in this film keep up the good work, your obvious love and compassion for animals is very inspiring and you have a beautiful soul and a big heart.

My prairie dogs were so friendly that neighborhood children would come by and ask if they could come out and play with them... it was a hoot. I had several squirrel families living in trees by my front door, we became friends (generational) through the donation of many peanuts and they became fast friends with my prairie dogs.
My uncle had a pet coyote when I was a kid. He had rescued it from a drain, he had it for yrs and most people had no idea until he told them and it listened and had better temperament then a lot of domesticated dogs I've seen. If the coyote is not sick, it's possible that it was a tame coyote raised by humans. Some people find or steal coyote pups and then when the coyote matures, they realize it may be too wild for them to keep, or it's no longer cute and release it. The problem though is a tame coyote doesn't know how to hunt because it wasn't ever taught how to and chances are will starve.
@katalinacastanares4602
Жыл бұрын
Sadly, we have so many irresponsible people around here stealing coyote pups, raising them, and then just dumping them when they're no longer cute pups. The only fortunate thing is that coyotes are scavengers and that, along with prey drive is already instinct they are born with. Which is what makes them so difficult for those people to handle and why they dump them. As they get bigger, they get into everything, always getting loose, killing small pets and other animals and just an overall "nuisance " to the pup thieves because they're ill-equipped to handle these natural behaviors. So, with that said, the only good thing about this whole situation is that they are more than capable of not only surviving, but thriving just as they would had they been raised wild. However, it does other damage by them being unafraid of humans, where they become a nuisance to the area they were dumped, and if they find and join another pack, they bring them along, encourage them to be less afraid of humans. Then the poor things end up being shot, or put down by animal control because of the lack of fear and the nuisance they cause.

Disagree with me if you want that coyote to be shot dead.
@windtalker4191
Жыл бұрын
@@sirweebs2914 You are wrong, and that is not the same situation at all. People often let pet cats roam, so house cats can learn to hunt while coming home to be fed by their owners. People also feed stray cats. That is not the same for dogs (or in this case coyotes). People don't allow their pet dog or coyote to roam around during the day. There is a reason animal parents feed while teaching their offspring to hunt. Any animal dumped is being abandoned without survival skills and no way to eat while learning to hunt, which means a high chance they will starve. That is why wildlife professionals send tame or raised in captivity animals to Sanctuaries instead of released in the wild.

@@sirweebs2914 Maybe lizards but the smarter a creature is, the more dependent it becomes on learned behaviors. If its taught to depend on humans, it WILL until it CAN'T and then it doesn't know what to fall back on because it was never taught any of those wild skills. See?

Back when I was in the army I was stationed in the middle of the mojave desert for a couple years, during that time I worked nights at the main entrance of the base for a few months as a special duty. A young coyote started coming by the gate every night, it'd walk right in the guard shack, sniff everyone and goes to sleep under the shelf, and it'd get up and leave before sunrise. Figured it must've lost his mom so I started bringing food and water for him and he'd come back every night like clockwork. It went on for about a month and half and Rusty stopped coming by suddenly (yes I named him), I found his body on the side of the desert road about a week later about 6 miles outside the base, looked like he was hit by a car. It's been over 15 years and I still remember him fondly.

I tend to believe the latter since we still have each of these creatures still. Selective breeding has made dogs, well, weirder in many ways. Haha. I read an article from a geneticist a while back about dogs being selectively bred from canines that were similar to dingos. Those dingo-like canines don't exist anymore because humans bred them out of existence into the many varieties of canines we now have. Who knows if any of this is true for sure though? We do selectively breed animals all the time though.

As an environmentalist, what we need to do as humans is to bring back their natural habitat were they will have a place to live and be themselves and have food to eat. Some people suggest to having a protected park for these animals like 100 acres of land where you can introduce like all the species of carnivores endemic to your country and like all the endemic herbivores, rodents and animals that are natural prey for these carnivores. There would be a places where there are mounds, rocks and boulders among grass, plants, trees, and shrubs surrounded by ponds scattered among the area and there would be rocky places in the edges of these locations where the carnivores would be placed. There would be medium sized herbivores like goats and sheeps and deers scattered around which would be game for the medium sized predators like cayotes and the likes. We just need to create a place for these poor animals where they can live out their lives as they should be.
