@@40lopezz That weight drain Roy went through after moving up to heavyweight changed him big time. Having said that, Tarver would have always been a tought fight styles wise. His height and range, not to mention activity would have always given Roy a hard fight. Roy even in his prime struggled with taller rangier opponents, look at his fight with Eric Harding.

@@40lopezz Roy turned pro in 1989. Tarver didn’t turn pro until 1996 and by that point Roy was already a 3 division champion. Less wear and tear, less stress, less mileage.
