I grew up with this man calling fights as far as I could remember. I miss his voice commentary. This was a pleasure to watch & hear this man again.

Agreed his voice is THEE premier commentator voice when it is all said and done for me. Give me Jim flanked by Larry Merchant and Max Kellerman and Harold Letterman with some Andre Ward Lennox Lewis Tim Bradley Shawn Porter panel and perhaps Roy Jones Jr. That is my commentator dream team. I also have to say although newish Chris Algieri is damned good at fight analysis as well as Antonio Tarver.

Hackett is good at breaking down boxing analytics but is too bias in his opinion of individual boxers and doesn’t follow boxing close enough to even know most of the top fighters below 135 or at LH and cruiser. He is a trainer first not a journalist or commentator so he sticks to his fighters/camps and those around him in Philly. He is too limited in his views and perspective but knows boxing for sure in tactics and techniques/strategies. Zittel is a media guy so has to follow the sport as a whole to comment appropriately, but is not obviously a former fighter or trainer..

Spence will be a different animal after that rude awakening and rematch at a weight he doesnt fight dehydrated at. 154 pounds be alot different. I knew Spence was a fool for a 18 month lay off going into that fight.

I remember when Bud was fighting on HBO and was getting 1 mill views! I don’t know why but everything turned into a race thing between PBC and HBO and the LDBC became a big thing on KZread. Bud was getting black balled all around and now he’s #1 p4p and one of the greats of all-time! All I know is HBO is missed in boxing. They KNEW their boxing.

My reason is most boxing fans are casual fans and are drawn more to exciting KOs and overwhelming physicality. Some of them forget about Crawfords pure boxing skills over Spence’s pure dominating physicality and get fed into it.

That car accident don't matter it's out the window no broken bones and he was cleared to continuing fighting and Bud been shot in the head both of them should be vegetables from they're traumatic experiences but it was going to be the same outcome because of the skill set Spence is still good but Bud is just the superior even when he was pulling up on Spence at times before they fought just dominant behavior from a dominant fighter
