I am currently in the design stage of my garage sim. There's for sure a ton of thought that goes into it. Keep it up the vids man.

I'm considering building a sim in my garage for this winter and bumped in to your channel. Watched the 1st all the way to this. As I am, you seemed handy with building stuff and thought you could have built a better one anyway. Hope that's motivation enough to push you through and rebuild with a better sim setup. Can't wait to see the new build! I am building a sim in the basement. Not quite the ceiling height I would like but it is what is. Keep the videos coming

Building a sim in my basement. Sold the pool table and redoing the room. It isn’t ideal… but so always look at disaster as a way to make improvements. Time to make it better my man. I lurk on your channel, watched a live stream, never commented. Keep on going!

I’m not trying to be a smart a**, but why couldn’t U just put it back up with more screws and anchors? I saw your more recent replacement and its awesome that they sent u their kit, but your build looked way better imo.

Hey Joe! So long story, hopefully, short... mainly I just felt it was safer. I have kids and such that play on the sim or I'll hook up the consoles in there and let them jam. I had approximately (20) 5 inch lag screws into the studs and it just took one corner backing out for the whole thing to fall down. My guess is just the ball impact over 1000's of shots and just the weight of what I built slowly backed some of the screws out. But to your point I did like the screen of the retractable kit more. As bad as it looks - it's just stuff. Fix it and get back on the air, we're waiting 😉

Assessing the damage, I think the screens mainly survived except one of the power cords got sheared. Making my new plan… it’ll go back up. Cheers!

I was blasting some sick 8 irons into the screen, one corner popped down, then the whole thing fell… I guess the lag screws backed out after all the impacts over the year. Thanks for the support, cheers!
