Congrats bro, I am not doing jobs but you can expect your in-hand salary to be roughly about 20-35% less then ctc, I too got an offer for a job (I applied for fun and got an offer letter) which gave me CTC of 3.5 lpa but I was only getting 25k in hand.

Sir, If we opt new Tax regime, then also we need to submit allowances bills at the end of the year. Please confirm on this. As per my understanding in our old tax regime we need to sumit the allowances bill.

Now HR's don't ask for CTC, they ask what is your current monthly salary

I work in educational field (private engg college operated under charitable trust). After covid started delaying salary, no yearly increments, epf not paid regularly, (my share in epf is 1800 rs and college pays around 550 rs), no arrears given. What can be done? Do I have choice to opt put of epf? To get 550rs from college I lost gain on my 1800rs...is it logical?

What if you paid 20% tax 4 lac but ESOP price crash to 0 next year🙏

I'm working in so called MNC named EXL, They give me salary hike of 500rs as per my 2 year previous experience on joining time. My CTC is 2Lac and basic pay is 14000 but they cut 1 side pf from my basic pay and 1 side of pd from my CTC. I got 12 thousand In hand and the shift timings is 9 hrs with 1hr break in it but they force you to do over time for 3hr extra and they pay 70rs per hour. In trapped here

Now, if my CTC is 100, my in hand is 130 (I work with Amazon)

With new atax regime all the salary is 100% taxable (except standard deduction). So it's much better to have high basic salary than high allowance. Because remember your PF and Gratuity is calculated on the basic salary, not allowance

If the companies deduct gratuity from the salary is it legal? If so isn't the company liable to pay the amount when the employee leaves the company irrespective of whether they have completed 5 years or not?
