Most things Akshat said makes sense. Except - 1. Middle class will shrink: not true, middle class will continue to grow given the population growth and the fact that majority of population is young 2. If #1 is valid and true to happen, it is highly unlikely that the govt will increase personal income tax. This is evident also from the introduction of the 'New Income Tax regime' which has given tax relief to starter income ranges. 3. Leave India - as someone who has lived in UAE and US for 8+ years and then returned to India, I can tell you that the phrase "grass is greener on the other side" is very true. Stated differently, EVERY country in the world is going thru difficult times and there is no "perfect" country to immigrate to. As someone who may not have global experience yet, you won't know the challenges until you experience it first hand. For example, high/good paying jobs in UAE are far and few and likely you will will end up in middle income range with which it is quite difficult to sustain a family in the UAE. TL;DR: Make money in India and move from middle to rich class in whichever legal methods you wish to choose. Your lifestyle and living conditions will be as good or better than abroad.

None of the top developed/developing countries are capitalist or Free market or socialist. All the top 20 countries are totalitarian and facist. It means that the top 1 percent who fund the political parties and do not pay any taxes, take massive loans from government who collect high taxes from middleclass, upper middle class, small business groups. The government in all these countries provide average facilities to the society like providing alms. This has been happening for more than 3 decades.

Just a thought about what you said about moving to europe, “the taxes are higher, but facilities are more”. I am in Germany since last three years. Here the taxes are really higher and the facilities are charged separately. Like you will get very good public transport, but fares are higher. The roads are really good, but the maintenance charges and vehicle insurances will rip you apart if you own a car. The healthcare is not that great here, but they charge above 500 euros every month. This doesn’t again include all the treatments, you need to topup to get other illnesses covered. And being away from your home is another problem. Its hard to survive with the language here, its hard to make friends here 😢. Lot of issues like this are here as well. Like our grandparents says, grass is always greener on the other side😂

An independent villa in a decent locality would cost you in between 2 to 4 crores. If you are going to buy an apartment, you dont get anything less than 1.5 crore in a decent locality. Even if you plan out your strategies of saving very well, it is really hard to live without you having to take up some job in some capacity somewhere. Though a fixed deposit fetch you some interest money, the inflation is so bad that eventually that would just be worth less and less over a period of time. There isn't a fool proof investment idea that exists in India. India is perhaps the worst country on earth in terms of investment as they can print infinite amounts of money to give out as freebies as against to supporting someone who works really hard and also pays their taxes very promptly.

i left India 15 years ago. but every time when i visited India, i found India to be better developed in terms of brands and services. Actually roads are much better than what was there 15 years ago. I am referring to TN and Kerala. I don't know about other states. However, pollution and trash problems do exist and its pretty bad and also there are no footpaths on the roads. But overall, i think India has improved a lot and i see no point for people already in India to leave India.

So stop thinking and acting like middleclass/upper middleclass and start working yourself to become rich. First thing to do is live a frugal life, to save money more than 60-70% of your salary/income and then invest in mutual funds, ELSS, index funds, stocks, gold MF/ELSS, gold, low cost real estate and Bonds, then in the next 12 years you can become financially independent and a millionaire.

Yes, sir, it's 100% correct. We haven't received any tax returns from the government. However, to earn Rs.100, we pay Rs.30 in income taxes. Then, when we purchase fuel worth Rs.100, we pay an additional Rs.60 in (SGST & CGST) taxes. Ultimately, we're paying 90% of the total amount in taxes just to obtain fuel worth Rs.40. This is just one example. Similarly, for purchasing items like rice, wheat, curd, salt, etc., everything is subject to taxation. Bringing tomatoes from farmland involves calculating the taxes paid at various stages: electricity usage EB taxable, farm land usage tractor taxable, fertilizers taxable, labor cost taxable, vegetable transportation fuel taxable, toll gate charges, market entry fees, and storage electricity charges taxable, but while our veg wastage is not accounted to deduct of taxes. As you mentioned, we also need to set aside funds for quality healthcare and education for our children, as well as for the care of our elders, which also involves paying taxes." Likewise, we are allocating a significant portion of our earnings to the government through taxes. "Taxes, taxes, taxes-all are draining our resources and pushing our poverty rate above 80% of the total population, India is 140th position in terms of per capita income." also this govt dosnt have any economists or collective idea about how to control and feed to 140 crore peoples.

I already left India. As time passes more and more ppl will realize the facts he has told is coming true. By that time it might be more difficult to move, because govt also will realize that the youngsters moving outside the coutry as a threat and will try to restric more. (Example by imposing high taxation for sending money aborad even for studies and health). Also Indian politics, people'1s sentiments and all the discussions are somehow getting connected to Religion, which is not a good sign for any courtry. Also back a decade ppl were movig out of india was just make more money and comeback. But now scenario is different, now majority is moving out to settle in other countries.

After listening to Askhata on the topic of migration i thought i should respond...i have travelled extensively be it US Europe Singapore on long term and short term as part of my career from India and fairly senior now. I had the opportunity to stay back as a NRI but decided to come back ..best decision of my life when i had children. I was one of first batches of computer engineering in 1991. 1. Migration to other countries will not solve all your so called quality of life issues. 2. Money is important no doubt.but happiness is a factor of many other aspects. 3. Life is not only money. It involves lot of other aspects family, near and dear ones, relations, your village, society. 4. All countries have equal share of problems in their own domain be it health care, inequality, opportunities. 5. Health especially mental health is very important. 6. Children education and their outlook of life is important. If your are obsessed with providing luxury your kids, u develop woke kids ..there could be exceptions. 7. Running away from problems is the easiest route. There are difficult choices but will be fulfilling. 8. India is changing and your definition or western definition of success and happines no longer a valid. 9. There are good things in other countries, you go and learn them come back and make a difference be it small one 10. You are just one among the crowd outside and you come across racists. 11. You are a alien immigrant in a foreign soil a cheap labourer. 12. Be my guest if it appealing to run.

Racism and discrimination is a human flaw, every one suffers from it. In fact if you look deep down inside yourself you might have also harboured similar thoughts.. and some of the worst discrimination I suffered was guess where? India!! My own country and society, or so I thought 😢

Absolutely brilliant @AkshatZayn, just like all your other videos. As much as you rubbed the irrefutable realities on the audience, the last 2 odd minutes summarised it into a still optimistic and yet a realistic and achievable course of life and livelihood. Please keep up the amazing work you are doing.

Great video Akshat and timing of this video… It’s disheartening to see when there are so many burning issues in India which could be discussed during this elections from both the sides i.e. Political parties and citizens but what parties like BJP talk about is Hindu Muslim (e.g. Modi’s speech in Rajasthan today) even after being in Power for 10 years.. I think it’s not the fault of the political parties… they are selling what the demand is.. It seems no-one (Masses) cares about actual issues which can improve lives of the people.

Absolutely disagree….I have businesses in many countries. One myth about Dubai and Europe, it is Tax Free or less Tax. Here everything is very costlier. India is still very cheaper and doing business in very easy and cheaper in India than Dubai and any Euro contries.
