The yellow guy really learns something new until he eventually finds nothing (Episode 6 of season 1). A duck who knows that the cycle repeats, just got used to it and is quite pleased with himself. Episode 6 suggests to me that he's the kind of guy who is trying to have passion for what he loves based on the "I am a file and you put documents in me" piece, yet reality keeps getting in the way, hence the monotone voice. Wrong. Duck was the most brainwashed, yellow was also brainwashed but at least he noticed there was nothing after the Oblong Red was the only one to ask questions that stumbled the Computer. Notice how he was the only one who was outside of the Computer.

My interpretation of the “3 things to do” is: information/surfing the web, social media, and mobile games. When you see information online, there are often pointless statistics given to make the information seem more important than it really is, and many websites try to grab your attention and keep you there for as long as possible by presenting new useless info. Yellow guy gets stuck in a cycle of wanting to learn more even though in reality he isn’t really learning anything of value (wow look, nothing!). Duck gets sucked into a cycle of repeating the same mundane things over and over again to get popular on social media. He dedicates all of his time to “digital style”, trying to put forward a specific image and addicted to the likes he gets on his photos. Red guy is experiencing simple, repetitive entertainment. Over time, more gets added in to the game to make him feel like he is progressing and keep him hooked, even though it’s all sort of pointless and doesn’t actually change the game. He eventually has enough of it and decides to break the cycle. I interpret this episode as a sort of statement on how many sites on the internet manipulate people into spending more time online so that they can make more money.

This show is a horror masterpiece. It manages to look normal and unnerving at the same time at first, and when the song begins it becomes random, but in a way that it becomes even more unnerving. Then it decides the correct time to become plain horrifying. This is the work of a genius.
