As someone who grew up on low budget Christian children’s programming they really *got* it. You’ll have a settling that starts off innocent and tame enough, and then, “we must worship our lord and savior who shed his blood for our sins.”

“Maybe I can hold your hand? And together we can understand…” I love that line for some reason- I used to never understand this show as a kid,growing up I’m glad that I got traumatized as a kid now. Something is so unsettling when yellow guy tells “furry boy” that he loves him and pats him, all he says is “harder”, it shows just how innocent he really is to the world around him, he is literally taken from his friends to join a cult and is getting groomed by a furry dog because he is lonely
