There's nothing to fear but fear itself, and I'm scared to be scared. Just go with the Aikido Flow!

Great to see you Azu, just one small point that might help you in the future: Dogs, even small yappy-type-dogs 🐕 are often triggered to respond to prey running away from them and will by natural reaction give chase. I used to live in a country with many "stray" uncontrolled dogs willing to chase my motorbike, however across the country every dog had learned that when a human bent down to pick something from the ground a hail of small rocks almost always followed, you never needed to throw anything - just go through the motions. When threatened I've used that adrenaline rush to stand-ready and close the gap with my attacker who like the coward dog scampers off. Stay safe and have a great weekend team.

Thanks guys! I can relate to Azu, we both had a paper route during our youth. For me that was around 1980, haha.

The key is the Ki of Aikido, isn't it Jason ;) Would be great to learn more about some mental techniques of Ki Aikido as well, pretty useful if you have to cope with stress, anger and to improve mind-body coordination.

Good job on expressing the truth about that these are life-and-death situations in the street the enemy doesn't play by the rules nor should you be ready at all times and the sole objective should always be to put them down without hesitation Mercy or restraint they don't play by the rules nor should anyone who is being victimized make the attacker the victim horse competitions matter in the same mentality shows be applied as we only get one life in this game

I often work with people who have panic disorders (stressing over anything, often stress itself, that creates that cascading downward spiral). I use the analogy of your nervous system, reaching down your spine and giving you a wedgie.

Being scared is normal, now practicing a bs martial art is another thing. Unless you practice for real life situations you won’t be able to do much.

No offence but you really need to script some of these more narrated, rather than demonstrative, videos. You stumble over the explanation and are clearly trying to think of how to say what you mean which is a little frustrating to watch. "We're actually worried about being worried. And we're actually worried about the feelings, uh, how we feel when we start to get worried". It's a good point you're making but it's a bit frustrating waiting for you to get there.
