Don Bluth's, LEARN TO STORYBOARD: Disk One
Фильм және анимация
Second only to the script in its importance is the storyboard. The storyboard creates pictures where once there were only words on a page. The artist has a heavy responsibility. He/she must translate the script from words to pictures.

Don Bluth is,without a doubt, the coolest guy I've ever met. I have a picture with him from when I was about 3 or so. I ran into him recently at a store and he told me he remembered me
He's a great man. Greater than Disney ever was!
Quote worth remembering "A song must advance a character or a plot". - Don Bluth
Yes, the music SHOULD advance character and plot. No one seems to know this except a select few however.
Great to see a video that can teach storyboarding skills, because I remember learning these types of skills in a TV Field Production course I took in the Fall of 2008, and I'm planning on going into broadcasting sometime in the future.
I love most cartoon storyboards.
You're a great artist, Don. Did you ever give art lessons to anyone?
I'm really glad you did a video on this. I've recently taken alot of interest in storyboarding.
Excellent, Mr. Bluth! Thanks for posting this!
I love the irony at 2:51, with him talking about how a song has to advance the plot. *cough* Big Lipped Alligator Moment *cough*

That was a nightmare
Thank you for posting this video.
Talent radiates off of him. Even through the crap medium of youtube.
Incredible to see imagination at work :D
Another great video. :)
I know that Don Bluth is an animation God, but it doesn't really help when the background poster is Rock a Doodle. It'd probably be better if it was something like The Secret of NIMH or An American Tail, but it just seems a bit distracting having Rock a Doodle in the background.
Ohh yeah !! thank you !!
well nice.
great great great great great tHANKS ..THANKS VERY THANKS !
Don bluth was just an amazing and awesome guy in animation but animators nowadays will never be like Don bluth and that's what I say.
Can any of his video's teach drawing?
Is this for a movie ur going to do?
Well I think I’m getting the hang of flipping
