My goodness Don! Even how you can draw those distinctive and expressive eyes so tiny with pencil while conveying emotion is absolutely amazing!

I miss the old days when animation was handrawn and stop-motion. I could deal with CGI a bit more if it didn't completely take over. Forgetting the work of geniuses like Don Bluth and Ray Harryhausen is to forget what film's about entirely. This was one of my favorite games too.

Like Richard Williams , Don Bluth is a pure genious of disney quality animation .

Dargon's Lair... 😍 As a kid, I was obsessed with the game, still one of my all times favorite I basically seized its arcade (yes, I'm THAT old) the year of its release 😅 It had such an impact on me that I ended up studying (and briefly working) as a cartoonist while in college

@visara1313 Secret of NIMH was AMAZING! But I got bummed when Bluth started making the bad films in the 90s. How did the guy who created NIMH and Land Before Time sink to making Rock A Doodle and Troll in Central Park?

i hoped get a true movie of dragon's lair long footage whit musical comedy and all disney classic style !

Lets hope Princess and Frog dose well, all though im skeptical it will, its so hard to see movies that are rated A, i know your thinking whats A stand for, well its A for annoying. I personaly think Disney destroyed hand drawn animation by continually releasing movies that were so lame people just coundnt stand it anymore. But on the flip side parents need a movie to occupy there kid during the Christmas vaca, so its possible it could do well, lets hope so.

that was Milt Kahl... his last full length animation, to be punctilious... If I remember well, at the time Bluth was on a "minor" team (minor as in made of younger and less experienced animators) in charge of the early drafts It was a common practice in the early stages of a new project, so the studio could assess the feasibility of a work without too many economic risks

I wish we could see ALL of this demo, come on, flogging dvd’s of this when you could upload the content that’s 15 years ago!….Don sold the rights to dragons lair to Netflix, he doesn’t need to hold back! 🤠🏳️‍🌈
