I’m sitting here, laughing at myself in frustrated camaraderie as I struggle with my own dolly. With your help and good humour, I managed to remove both of those axle nuts and am replacing the second tire now. I laughed out loud at “What in the haberdashery is going on here?” and while I have no idea what skippitypaps are, I now want some🤣.

I appreciate your effort cause I went through a banging on the wheel nut with a pry bar and a hammer like it was a war world bomber and nothing so I decided to have expertise on the problem now I'm going to apply the technic thank you

I appreciate this video. The problem we are having is very simple: the axle is moving as well as he turns the channel lock. He needs to use another channel lock on the other side of the wheel to make sure the axke does not turn. Thank you very much for the effort.

Thank you. 30-year old tubeless dolly wheels replaced with minimal effort. I only had a vice grip to pinch hold and turn the push nut. Your experience prompted me to give it a little extra persuasion with gentle use of a small wonder bar, to pry push nut while turning. It took about three minutes without WD40 (no mess). And like your result, no need to buy new push nuts. Again, thank you for the insight.

Attempted same operation myself yesterday, turning and turning and turning. Thing never budged. Realized later I was going about this entirely wrong, this morning I pulled out my Dremel and a cutter blade, and knocked out those tabs holding the nut on to the axle. Whole operation... including getting out the tools, safety glasses, and a pair of gloves (because those sparks will circle right around to your hand)... took about 5-10 minutes. Just be careful to which way the sparks fly, make sure your safety glasses are tight, use the gloves, and be careful how deep you go to not notch out the axle.

14.42 Minutes to remove. I had a similar struggle. I tried like 5 different pliers, the one that helped to remove was the Oil Change vice grip, it has round jaws, the tips went underneath and I clamped and I tried one side first and then the other and it popped out, from the time I clamped it took 1m 67 s.

And if it's a.nice dolly you put a washer on and mark that spot and drill it so you can do a washer and cotter pin and NEVER have to deal with that again. If you have a slide hammer that works the best.

I think they have a special tool for them also. To use that jimmy bar/crowbar/ flat nail puller tool would be good to use the L shaped end verses the straight end. Thanks for the big effort, pain in the @$$ to get off not lone to Fidel filming it also. Pull up as you turn also keep the axel from spinning also. Thanks again for your will to try & help others.
