This brought me so much joy! My youth was spent riding my horse, but adulthood brought bills, responsibilities and time constraints that ended my equine dreams. My riding days are long behind me but watching this video revived such wonderful memories of my dogs jumping in the back of the pickup to excitedly drive out to the stables. Although they didn't have a special relationship with my horse like Teddy & Robin in the video, they had a blast running free at the barn and in the hills when we rode the trails. I didn't realize at the time what a healthy, happy way it was to spend those years...for me, my dogs, and my horse. Thanks for bringing those memories back to me! 😍 🐎 🐕

I've wanted to have a horse (or ten) my whole life, but I've always been too poor, and at 48 it doesn't look likely to ever happen. But I've accepted it, I have my Breyer statues, I can draw a horse better than most people, and have plenty of other animals in my life. Then of course there is my daughter, who I call 'the best pet I've ever had' LOL. She's a freakishly intelligent creature, case in point, one day when she was just 8 or 9 years old and out of the blue said, "It's crazy how a long time ago most people had horses but only wealthier people could afford a car, and now it's the opposite." Blew my mind.

@@jussunset6 ask your doctor about hippotherapy. There are PATH certified stables in surprising places, and we have seen such amazing results with neurological repair and neuro-muscular strengthening. It is so worth the time/effort… and we get to RIDE! How cool is that!?!

In the beginning I like how he crosses his paws like “nope ma’am I’m fine right here”. Haha. I loved her statement that they are this happy little trip. A girl and her two boys. God bless them!

Absolutely agree. It’s why it is so heartbreaking we continue to support eating meat and dairy when it contributes to the suffering and killing of these intelligent, caring and sentient creatures. A pig shares the same intelligence as a dog and of a 4 year old child yet our traditions define it as food and not friend.

This literally made my day!! What an absolutely ADORABLE pair Robin and Teddy are!! Just the sweetest, cutest, most heartwarming friendship that these two have. These animals have no prejudices or jealousy or mistrust of one another. I wish people could be more like these two very different animals who absolutely adore and love one another unconditionally. 🥰❤🐕🐎

Search on KZread for _"Horse and dog play together."_ It is an 11 year old video where many people in the comments have testified that the video is very therapeutic for them. There is even a therapist in the comments that said he recommends that video to his patients. I honestly never understood it. I even watched the video a few times. I'm dull in certain aspects and this seems to be one of them. Maybe you'll get something from the video.

This is one of my all-time favorite animal videos! In general, I absolutely love most dogs (my ol' hound dog of 14 years taught me more about life & living than I would have ever learned otherwise - and he's now resting in peace, waiting for me!)...and I know if I had been raised with horses I'd probably feel the same about them. These two - Robin & Teddy - just go to show how we can all live happily together even with our differences.

I love the animal buddy story.....they just have each other and they couldn t be more happy. What a great life.

Thank you Emily for posting the sweet relationship of you, Teddy, and Robin. I never knew that a dog could enjoy riding a horse. The great carrot caper was too funny. 😂😂😂

That dog is gonna lead an extremely healthy and happy life. They have such a gorgeous coat and such strong legs, being able to keep up to a dog like that. When a dog gets that much stable exercise in a day, in a week, it keeps them strong and healthy

Two different species are recognizing as a pal each other. Their pure and honest relationship is warming up peoples heart, and I wish that this video will be more known to worldwide to light up this desparate world.

I have a friend whose cat rides the horse. They're an exceptional family. The owner Smiley "the blind therapy dog" who loved to listen to kids read at the library and give cuddles to people in nursing homes. Born without eyeballs, his mantra still after his death is "seeing with my heart". Unbelievable story there.

If this isnt the most heart warming thing I’ve seen 🥰🥰🥰It’s something. Animals are more compassionate than humans are .

There is a german rhyme that says: The happiness of this earth lies on the back of the horses. Don't know if there is something similar in english. But this dog would agree I guess.

This is such an inspiring video, as it shows clearly how two completely different animals can build a strong bond between them. I like how the doggie enjoys being “on top of the world” because his friend let’s him be on his back. It’s such a clear message from the animal world schooling humans on behavior and opportunities to be happy. Thanks for sharing.
