The monarch thereby was no longer responsible for paying the civil service, military, etc. The deal only exists through a monarch's own reign. When George died, his son renewed it on different terms, and so forth and so on. When Edward VIII abdicated, his brother had to pay him for Balmoral and Sandringham because they were Edward's. The deal is usually set for the whole reign [see Kinglsey Martin's THE CROWN & THE ESTABLISHMENT]. The only time the deal has had to be renewed was under the present queen, because in the late 60's the crown was going into debt, Philip jokingly complained on TV he may have to give up polo, and the queen suggested she would move out of Buckingham Palace [Ben Pimlot's bio]. Ostensibly, technically, Charles could become king and take all the land back under his control. The subtext to all this seems to be these lands - Buckingham Palace, city of Westminster, etc - belong to the sovereign: I just don't understand if there is a meaningful, LEGAL distinction between Balmoral and Buckingham Palace.

@911WokeMe they used CGI in the first place to make the video, but sadly for them they didn’t manage to get the plaster work, stucco and columns around the palace correct, so it was debunked years ago. However as your own channel is purely anti royal conspiracy theory stuff i am sure you will still be printing this in years to come. However without even thinking about the stucco or columns, or anything obvious like that, the thing that struck me most about this video and how fake it was is that the woman actually looks back smiles and laughs as she apparently sees someone falling from a great height. Who would do that? Any normal person’s response would be to gasp or scream or yell if you saw someone in that predicament not smile at the camera and laugh. It’s clearly two vids put together.
