I am a 4th Generation Filipino/American! My great grandparents came to California in 1895. Yes 1895. We do not speak Filipino (Tagalog or Other Dialects) My grandkids have shown great interest in their racial heritage and are active in their culture. The Filipinos of the Large Cities (PI) leave much, much to be desired. The people of the Providence seem to have better values and morals. (Fernando Marcus is an exception!) One grandson of mine, (half-white) Masters Degree out of Uof Calif, Age 26 yrs is thinking about visiting the P.I. with eyes on the women of the Province. He is visiting Ilocos, Visaya, and Bicol. American Expat here in The Philippines. I've got a very pretty Pinay gf. She's the best Woman I've ever known in my entire life. I don't know much tagalog but when it came to that part of our relationship and she saw it. Her facial expression immediately changed and she said "OMG malaki talaga".
