Doing the initial task that the video described seemed to actually clear the check engine light instead of showing me the codes. Holding the trip meter button while turning the ignition on did the scan just like you described. Thanks!

This worked on my 2003 Dodge Intrepid. My Engine light was on. Make sure it's on the Odometer part of the dial, not the trip counter. When I turned on the key 3 times I got a code of P0325. It works!

Just tried this on my 2007 with 128K miles. P0441 was the code. Next to find out what THAT means! Thanks much. I already had the odometer set to trip as it was. The RUN designation meant 2 clicks and lots of lights turned on the dashboard. But the 3rd time was like a charm!

Yes I tried it on my Canadian made 2003 Dakota Quad cab 3.9 and it worked. I tried it before and it didn't so must have gotten instructions more clear this time. Thumbs up! Now if only someone could tell me why my airbag light comes on (intermittently - not all the time).

I have the same truck but couldn't get it to work. I tried this with just the fob key without the actual key in. Do you think that could be why it's not working?

Works on a Dodge Dakota 2002 too. Got a p 0455 code, which was a EVAP error. First thing on the checklist is check your gascap, and yes it was loose. Go figure. Now hopefully it will reset itself. Thanks bunches for the video!

Just turn the key all the way to the acc position and all the way off 3 times fast doesn't have to be lighting quick but the faster the better and on the 3rd turn leave it in the acc position

Thank you for watching and for the comment! It sounds like it is a loose connection, possibly in the steering wheel, or passenger dash, considering it is intermittent. For air bags, I HIGHLY recommend taking it to a shop and having it diagnosed.
