I have a 2016 durango... no key just a push start....anybody know how to do this without a key.... or do I have to take it in?

This method does not work on all Dodge vehicles. For those of you who can get NOT a code this way, use an OBD2 scanner to read and clear the codes. Here are instructions on how to do it on any 1996 Dodge: www.youcanic.com/dodge/check-engine-light

This way doesn't work on 05 dakota that or that part is broken

Sierra Kirby should be turn the key to on position 3 times press gas pedal 3 times at the same time

Yeah one of the reasons I will never buy post-2000 again. Unless I can afford to replace the vehicle every few years, it is just like gambling. Would rather be able to diagnose and fix issues that total modern vehicles.

reset ...engine check light disconnect...negiative...battery cable go inside vehicle put key in turn to on position..wait 30 second switch off remove key...reconnect negiative...and start...light should now be off if reapair was correct
