You asked for it so here it is, me reacting to more TikToks! I looked at some of the more awkward and cringey medical TikToks today, as well as some straight-up funny ones for a laugh. We covered subjects like sunburns, STD screenings, and even CPR before I reached my limit on cringe. If you come across any more medical TikToks you want me to react to, send over!
I LOVE reading your comments and take your suggestions seriously. If there’s a subject you want me to discuss or something you’d like for me to react to, leave a comment down below. Many of my videos have been born out of suggestions directly from you, so don’t hold back!

Hand-washing has saved tens of millions of lives. 160 years ago, Dr Semmelweis started the decrease in the needless slaughter of patients by promoting hand-washing. Unfortunately, this fact took too long to gain prominence. Most of the deaths caused by medical and nursing negligence in the last century and almost all previous deaths under medical care were caused by lapses in hand-washing. Masks are important. Hand-washing is at least as important.

4:07 my friend Sandi got diagnosed with cancer while we were out having lunch with some other friends. After the phone call she got from the hospital, we were all so shocked and devastated. We started crying, group hugging and being absolutely broken … a few hours later, another phone call comes in and they said sorry it was a name mix up between Sandi with an I and Sandy with a Y. I cannot even begin to imagine how APPALLING it must be for Sandy with a Y to get this same phone call but in reverse OMG? I really hope that didn’t happen to her!

Personally, I would have died of appendicitis at age 29, and that doesn't count the numerous wounds for which I took antibiotics at a younger age. There were really old people in ancient (or even fairly recent) times. But they were the lucky few. For the majority, life was brutal and short. Gratitude is in order. Thank you Dr. Mike.

I've been watching Dr mike's videos for a while and from the way he acts i am convinced that he collects something really weird like it's just his guilty pleasure.
I was in medical school and was doing my internship in internal medicine. It was a subintensive care unit and EVERY TIME I went home (with my tutor's approval) because there was nothing to do, I came back the next day and there have been 2-3 emergencies after I left. After the third time, I started going home only after at least one resident had done so, to the point where they started to feel embarrassed that I was willing to stay with them all day even if it was not necessary.

I know 'skin type' can effect how one reacts to certain amount of sunlight. Though I always burned in odd ways. Like when I was younger I got burned under my clothes and not the exposed locations on my body. Then every burn I got after always blistered which is a major issue to sleep with. I have constantly had to ask doctors about potential skin cancer because of my habit of burning. As I got older it got worse with less and less sun required to essentially melt my top layer of skin. This had led me to take less time outside and to make things worse some bone issues has reduced even more. The point of this is that I want to legitimately thank you for how you explain and approach things here. I laugh so regularly with you videos that it does make me feel better over-all.
