It’s really not laziness. There are more things going on. Typically calling people “lazy”, even ourselves, is a form of victim blaming. We need to exercise more self-compassion to understand and love ourselves better.

True, but plenty are just really lazy and rely on their two-party puppet circus bully double-standards dictatorshittttt political system, or debunked religion or debunked material atheism, or their horrendous non-vegan lifestyle to fill their voids, causing further havoc. :3

You are into the liberal mentality. Poison.
“Confidence isn’t something that you feel, it is something that you do…Confidence is the willingness to try”
2:26:30 - "Empowerment, support, kindness, love, celebration. This is the single most motivating force on the planet. "Tough love" is baloney cuz it doesn't work! What REALLY fuels people, particularly when you're going through a challenge, is feeling celebrated, seen, and supported."
I've found that for me the best morning routine that has ever worked for me, is to drop any ideas of what I "need" to do based on any socially conditioned pattern, and trust my self and what I need moment to moment . I've that that this is just what works for me personally . Great video Lewis ! Thanks for being one of the people that inspires me to post videos every single day : ) ! Much Love : ) 🙏

Excellent video! Because of this interview, I created my own alarm clock wake-up sound, it is me saying good morning to myself, then counting down 5 seconds. I am going to try it for the first time tomorrow. I am excited to have something that will help me stop hitting the snooze button. LOL!! I may even add encouraging words to the alarm, as Mel explained the importance of speaking them to ourselves.

That thought actually occurred to me a little while ago too! To record a happy, positive, supportive greeting to myself of things I want and need to hear. Give you / your spirit what YOU need first thing in the morning. Great idea. Another method might be to read outloud a prewritten message to myself of the positive supportive things I need to remember and empower myself and set my intention with.
I'm doing the best I can, self-talk, it's simple yet really amazing advice thank you

Thing is, most of the time, it turns out people ARE secretly mad at me, because I don’t understand their passive-aggressive signals.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
there is no laziness in nature each lives according to the conditions of the environment and its needs For example, if there are enough resources to live, a good climate and no enemies, it can sleep all day... or reproduce.. Circumstances determine your life.. and your species also We, as a large species, don't need to rush anywhere... But we live in an unnatural and distorted time.. That's why we have watches. Human language is invented with super many redundant concepts like Laziness.. for example - which are unnatural...
Would you be able to write put it in a magazine or put my interesting story on your show loving show”?

I come to this channel to learn about our common humanity - everything about this talk was great until it became a conversation about racism - no - not "everything is racist or anti-racist"- if that's how one views the world that's a problem in and of itself - there is need for change across the board on social issues and the last thing I was expecting was after 2 hours and 50 minutes of self improvement conversation that the last leg of this is all about racism - If this is going to be a channel about being woke you will lose viewers - I would stick to what unites us not what divides us. Edit - I say this with all the love and appreciation I have for what Lewis does bc he is a beacon of light and positivity and clearly has the best intentions on sharing knowledge that can help ppl and his sincerity is why I come to watch his videos. His guests are great of course but his interviewing style and empathy and relatability and humanity is what keeps me coming back and I don't want to see his guests hijacking his platform for their own personal agendas. That is all.

Poppette they were, essentially, talking about empathy and compassion here. I wasn’t expecting racism to be part of this conversation either and I am sensitive to the weaponisation of the generational and ongoing pain and trauma that people identified as “black” experience. As I view this as destructive and manipulative. However, I think the topic was explored in a positive and helpful way here. I would encourage you to explore why you were so triggered by this x
@popette13
Жыл бұрын
@@heynicky1109 I am triggered by divisive topics being systematically infiltrated into every facet of life these days - it is divisive no matter how well intentioned one might be. Everyone deserves an outlet where they can get away from the many problems of society and daily life and the world at large. Imagine if you went to a yoga class and the teacher started talking about racism instead of teaching the yoga class. Does racism exist? Yes. Is a yoga class a place where ppl go to address the problems of racism that exist or is it a place where ppl go to seek some peace that every person deserves? There was no natural transition that you mentioned in this conversation. It literally came out of no where and was clearly an agreed upon topic that was going to be addressed in the last few minutes of this video. It's not a topic that CAN be address in the last few minutes of a 3 hour video so it seemed very left field and part of this seemingly all encompassing trend of virtue signaling whiplash which I didn't appreciate especially when she said everything is either "racist or anti-racist" like is that supposed to make the viewer feel like they're not doing enough? None of us are doing enough bc it's a complicated issue that can't be solved by virtue signaling for a few minutes. It honestly just made me feel like she felt she had to say something to stay relevant and not bc it is a sincere issue she cares about otherwise the discussion would have been longer than a few minutes. Especially when she said she worked and reported on all those stories about black ppl who got murdered. I mean she was up close and personal on that reporting in real time and she goes ahead and says the first time she actual felt something on a personal level was when her black coworker mentioned his son going to school in the south. Like really? That's the first time you considered what it might feel like to be black in America? Like that was either bs or a a clear red flag about her actual lack of empathy if she's reporting on these events and murders on a daily basis and that's when you finally felt something real? She just didn't seem genuine to me at least and maybe that's why it rubbed me the wrong way too.

I am a person of colour writing this. I believe a lot of people of colour make EVERYTHING about race. I was raised NOT to be defined by something as external as the colour of my skin, and not find my worth there. If someone out there has a problem with the colour of their skin, it is a "Them Problem", not a "Me Problem". I am tired of people of colour playing the race card when it is convenient for them. It seems a white person, especially cannot say anything about race because the white person, especially the white male has become the devil in this world. Not all of us people of colour use the colour of our skin as a handicap or play victim to it. Listen to AFRIKA BROOKS' interview with Steven (Diary of a CEO). Afrika is a black woman and she pretty much said what I am saying. The difference is when a white person says the same thing, they are denounced.

@@popette13 must be terribly inconvenient to happen across these types of conversations. How thoughtless and inconsiderate of them to pose a question about these tragic events. P.S. I don’t agree with your outrage at the realisation that accompanied a meaningful life experience. I don’t think was saying these murders didn’t appall her from the beginning. What she described is a new first hand insight into the way these types of events and racism in general affect the everyday lives of every day people - even those she knows - in all sorts of ways she never would have imagined. But I think you know that. I think you know you’re deflecting right now. What I recommended you do was to ask yourself certain questions. You don’t need to reply to me. I’m not owed a response or explanation. Do this all for yourself x
