Couldnt agree more. Feels like typical doctors would suggest drugs right away and superficially say to change our diet. Would appreciate doctors that would hightlight and discuss dietary changes first before resorting to drugs.

It does feel like doctors are drug dealers and the pharmaceuticals are their big bosses pushing them to get more drug addicts onboard by prescribing medicines that offer long term I’ll-solutions to patients being addicted and not getting better if not worse. Yet they have the solutions but it don’t benefit them and the big pharma who willl come down heavy on them if they empower their patients.

@@maechellequindo6849 I’m not a doctor but I learned a lot about the health industry , diets and the human body and how it really works. I have friends that are doctors and they said I know more than them because pharmaceutical industry teaches them at school how to recognize the symptoms and what DRUGS will suppress that ,NOT HEAL it from the root cause. I work in a public high school. I walk around in horror watching what these kids are eating. Parents have no problem drugging their kids for adhd, obesity, autoimmunes, or asthma, but they freak out if you try to limit their access to junk food. We don’t serve brand market fast food, but the kids call Uber-eats and can get anything they want.

After trying a moderate protein Keto diet for over 2 years I saw drastic improvements. This was after listening to Dr Bergs vids on adrenal fatigue and though I couldn't get the appropriate blood test or diagnosis for adrenal issues I saw most of my symptoms were in line with those of what he mentioned. I've had a lot of stress since my toddler years plus PCOS, endometriosis and candida overgrowth due to the use of amoxillin after a dental procedure. After I started that diet I was able to sleep past 8 hours a night - something I couldn't do since childhood. It made me see how stress was the no 1 factor in my decline in health and why my immunity was so low. Because of job loss which led to loss of income I'm back to eating carbs again and of course my health has had a decline - not as bad as before which shows some healing took place so the best thing I could do is try not to be stressed out. Now I'm drinking Lemon Balm tea as Dr Berg suggested and after 3 months I'm seeing some changes. I don't feel the stress at much and my quality of sleep is better. So Dr Chatterjee is right. This rat race culture is what makes people not understand how stressed out they truly are. This is why the great resignation took place during the pandemic and I don't blame them. People are just fed up and overworked and will take a rest if they can. Yes we know some people are just lazy but a LOT of people work excessive hours to survive. Then there's living in a society where you have constant fear of danger doesn't help either.

It is indeed very refreshing to see that a UK doctor is advocating healthy living strategies. After more than 50 yrs in medicine - I am trying to disseminate about this as I only managed to lose weight after three score yes and ten! Though IF has been existing g for thousands of years in every culture - IF combined with Healthy nutrition will transform our lives. The greatest privilege we has GPs is knowing the whole patient and his family in the context of the environment they live in. Though I have not yet seen Dr in the house - Iam sure both Reagan and Jamie Oliver can influence and impact on the uk population to a great extent - for we need the next generation to passionately motivate at least one member of each family - and it will have a ripple effect. Sadly even today - many GPs and Nurses are unaware about the science of IF and importance of personalised medicine. Well done Ranjan! 🙏

Glad you talked about schools (I was a teacher) but you overlooked an important demographic, our senior citizens and senior living communities (including nursing homes, assisted living, etc.). I live in a senior community in independent living, am active, eat a whole foods diet and must avoid all gluten and some other foods.I have to do all my own cooking at a time in life I thought I could enjoy someone else providing nutritious meals, and enjoy the social aspect of eating with others in our community. But the community dining room is much like a school cafeteria and in fact, gets its food from US Foods, just as many schools do. NO one is talking about this and the problems seniors have trying to eat healthy in a community with a food plan but untrained staff (and difficulty hiring staff) and no understanding of what a healthy diet really is. Our most vulnerable citizens are not living their healthiest life because they don't have many whole food choices and no one is looking into this. We once had a Walk for Alzheimers to raise money to "end" Alzheimers... and served donuts at the end! And serve sweets of every type at every other event we have. I and a few others have tried to raise awareness but nothing changes. We need doctors and leaders like you two to start talking about food in senior living communities, Please!!

Very true. My Mom's cookbooks from the 1950s used honey not white sugar in recipes. So it seems the white sugar came on board in the 1960s as the cookbooks were all white sugar. Pre WW2, people used to cook and bake with coconut oil. And there isn't iodine anymore in milk, breads or salt.

You are so right! I’m a retired teacher also. I brought up the non- nutritious school meals once and the cooks were very upset with me. I believe lack of nutrition and overload of sugar is the main cause for so many kids being on dangerous adderall and other drugs. I pray this will improve someday, but not holding my breath. To make things even worse, now they are oxygen deprived with those idiotic germ bags strapped to their faces.

its true what he said about food habits. if you are consistent your taste buds will shift. Being an Indian I used to eat a lot of spicy foods once upon a time, drink cold water from the fridge, crave for fried snacks, but over the years I eliminated all of it and now for last 15 years im very comfortable with drinking warm water or hot water 3-4 glasses a day, eat a mix of nuts and seeds, eat far less spicy food as in the typical Indian kinds of curries. I do consume spices but now they are whole spices as in black pepper, cinnamon, cardamom in small quantities in teas. I do use mild freshly pounded whole spices to flavor my curries. my cooking oil consumption is 1/3 rd of what it used to be. I use more oil to massage my skin than use them in cooking !! for being physically active, I never kept a maid in the house. I do all the chores myself and take time out to walk for atleast 30 mins. I used to be more tired and my bones hurt when I was in my early 30's but now I have no pain. another important thing to check with our food is that we are eating the right combinations of food. Ayurveda - the ancient science of medicine clearly defines compatible and non compatible foods. e.g dairy should be had on its own and should never be mixed with any kind of produce. e.g adding cheese on veggies, having fruits with milk is very toxic. it acts like slow poison damaging our organs over a period of time. Dairy if possible should be completely avoided. Meat too should never be mixed with dairy and never burnt. Even Jews follow this strictly. they never ever mix meat with dairy. These are some of the reasons for autoimmune diseases. im 47 and these changes have helped me so much that people tell me i dont look over 32 /33.

After changing my diet and lifestyle recently, my over all condition has been hugely revived. Two months ago I was a wreck and going down hill fast physically and mentally. Im 5'10" and dropped from 155 to 130 in less than two months while eating normally.. That was enough to scare a person with a lot of autoimmune diseases in the family tree. On top of that my anxiety got to where tightness in my chest was preventing me from breathing regularly. I had almost zero energy and was struggling badly with sleep which has never been an issue before. Found out cutting gluten made such an impact that I took sugar and all processed foods out as well. Two weeks into that and my anxiety has been almost completely eliminated even though I'm currently facing massive life challenges. I can only imagine where I would be if bread and sugar were still my main calorie sources like they have been for probably all my life. Just a kid who grew up eating pop tarts, and cinnamon sugar toast, who apparently was on the edge of ADHD. Always could keep myself going, but never felt like I could do my best.. Lately at 28 years old I feel more in control of my thoughts and direction than I ever have. Thank you immensely Dr. Chatterjee! These videos and the ones regarding breathwork have been such a massive aid in my progress.

Simply, thank you. I just really wish I new this even all the way back in 2007. I started losing beautiful and beloved family members to cancer mostly and other chronic diseases. It's been beyond awful. These people were still young in their 50's and 60's mostly. People in our society today actually think this is normal. In my family especially, they feel like there is nothing you can do it about. That's just the way it is type of thing. I just didn't know how much food really impacts our health. I use to think that you are just a victim of your genes. It's eye opening. Of course I just wish I knew this before so that I could have helped my family members with cancer. Anyhow thanks, I know you can't live in the past. I don't usually leave such a long comment. Everyone take care of yourself as best as possible. GOD BLESS.

Amazing doctor: wish we had doctors like him in the United States. Medical care is more like a business of how much we can milk out of the insurance company and the patient rather taking care of the patients. Health care is awful in the U S .

Example: My daughter went to the ER with vomiting and diarrhea. The doctor administered an injection of something that caused her something like a panic attack. So then they inject her with something else to calm her down. I went to get the car while they wheeled her out to the entrance. She was completely doped up and slept for hours. The bill said this: Cause: Vomiting Diagnosis: Diarrhea No mention of the two drugs administered on her $1,300 bill. I call that Medical Malpractice.

we’re in Ontario Canada and my sons school is very strict about food that goes to school. No packaged food, no sugary treats, no granola with chocolate, etc. whole foods only. The worst thing they can bring is goldfish! This way no kid feels left out or short changed and the kids are eating better food for at least a few hours a day.

So wish GP's would listen to people and look at these health holistically. I've been self managing my RA/OA with no medication for almost 6yrs. Yes I have pain and only 20% movement in my hands but I still garden, crochet, keep house and cook and bake. I cold water dip even in winter and walk miles daily.. Im 63 and look 53. I feel 100% better not working and manage social media very carefully. This man is great!

Hi Drs., great work and education. I love it, thanks to you two. A quick correction, It is not all of Africa that is suffering from malnutrition. Africa is a whole continent and from where I come from, Ghana (West Africa) we don't suffer from malnutrition. We have access to over 90% of the food being mentioned here. Great show though, I'm really enjoying it.
