Simplest thing to do is 1. Get a medical checkup 2. Consult a doctor and follow the advice 3. Get a medical checkup again and see for improvement It may sound and be expensive but cheaper than getting in a hospital. Don't buy products whose adverts you see on social media. Depending on the level of deficiency, one may even require injections(urgency), a tablet, or a gummy bear won't work in such situations

I was raised on a farm. Farmlands the world over, with few exceptions, are exhausted. Back in the 1980s we used thousands of gallons of petroleum based nitrogen fertilizer to grow hundreds of acres of corn. The corn would be stunted and produce nothing without this fertilizer. There simply not enough nutrients in our food. Like anything else too many vitamins is bad for you, but certainly a quality multivitamin and minerals can help your body rebuild itself... Besides doctors are now like lawyers, you don't know who to trust. They are driven by big Pharma and that is a shame...

"Eat well" is rather vague -- What's important is eating real food with living enzymes out of the garden, fruits, dark leafy greens, vegetables, legumes like lentils, peas and beans, ground-up seeds. Most of all, avoid eating animal corpses and the milk meant for babies of another species -- you're swallowing suffering, fear and death, and it's not your food!

Well spoken Palkie Sharma. It easy to purchase multivitamin pills in either tablets or capsules. The human body was not evoled to consume multivitamins indiscriminately. The same with powdered suppiments. The problem is that in too many nations, the nutrition density of food grown is diminishing in nutrients that we need to consume more to feel satiated. When the knowledge of nutrition is low and culinary culture is hardly taught , then the pharmaceutical vitamin industry strives.

Yeah but what is a balanced diet? How do you monitor what you have an excess of and a defeciency of? Like for example tomatoes are a good source of Vitamin A but if you eat too much of it you could get poisoned. How do you know you’ve taken enough Selenium in your diet? People basically need to be nutritionist to actually have a real balanced diet. Not to mention most people who sautee or boil their vegetables dont know that boiling or sauteeing it actually diminishes the nutritional value of the food. Basically nowadays microwaving food like shiitake mushrooms is healthier

you need to get blood tests to find out what you specifically may be deficient in - some people are more deficient in Vitamin B12, others Vitamin D (if they live in a cold country for example). You might be lucky and not be deficient in any of those things, in which case a balanced diet recommended by your doctor or government will be enough@@Truthorfib

Also , I could remember he added further, " Child , you keep it mind, in every 3rd yr MBBS final examination, there's a book called, 'Oxford text book of medicine ' by the Dr. Charles C. In that book, he thoroughly emphasise, 'The examinations are formidable even to the best prepared : the greatest fool may ask, and the wisest man cannot " .According to that theory, Lady Palki done a 'herculean task ' , challenging to 'myths 'in the medical sector, and also 'cutting the 'hordian knot ' . In the West the dependency is high on meat & processed food. And most of the studies on nutritional needs comes from the West based on what their people undergo & thats what the world largely takes as the golden rule for nutrition & diet .

Most lower income Americans cannot afford plentiful vegetables & fruit, so supplementation can be very helpful. Large percentage of Americans have diets high in carbohydrates and fats, and are usually low in nutrients, but that's what they can afford. Some areas are considered food deserts which means it's very difficult (if not impossible) to get fresh produce. Supplementation can definitely make a positive difference in those cases.

I'm a doctor and no doctor ever prescribes multi vitamin as a standalone treatment, it is prescribed for any deficiency or to rule out any deficiency ! Coz sometimes it can be baldness or simple vitamin deficiency !! This is an example and in cases of genuine deficiency , there will be lab reports that show deficiency and in cases to rule out deficiency for any suspected diseases it is cheaper for the patient to use a course of multivitamins rather than testing the patient for that specific vitamin or mineral independently and my man you're welcome to check for every diagnostic test price near you !! So Please don't talk about doctors or their degree like this when you dont know about it completely! Yeah doctors might make off something's , but a cheap ass vitamin tablet isn't gonna pay us anything ! Use common sense, why will they advertise for multi vitamins , have you ever heard paracetamol advertisement?? Coz the companies know we won't give them to patients unless there is a cause !!

Get a vitamin & mineral panel test or a metabolic health test done. That will show one the real picture. And then one should consider to meet those gaps. Yes, specific vitamins & antioxidants are life saving. So you just cant bluntly say, that this is a scam. Yes, there are quality products from herbal sources. One need to chose the right product, without getting carried away by the brand promotions.

I'm a fan of Palki, like many others. But it's unfair to say the industry has no standards to follow. Some manufacturers do follow stringent international standards though they are not required to do that in India. Also, doctors don't have vitamins and minerals in their curriculum so they are not the right professionals to advise on that.
