Reginald, this is true. I didn't shed a tear because he wanted to use "the be fruitful and multiply scripture" and produce 15 children, but then not live up to the responsibility. He had broken relationships with them, did not consistently pay child support, and admitted in one interview that all of them had not even met. Why bring people on this earth to suffer, like you/he did??? He lived a fast life of loose women, drugs, and drink, but he did love God and I know the Lord embraced him and welcomed him back home. He was a broken spirit that can now be made whole in Heaven. He will be missed by the public for his deep, gruffy voice, talent, and ministry. He will be missed by his family the most. RIP DMX.

People this was a real lyricist and I'm not even into rap but I love to hear him rap He touched his soul it's like that good old gospel music that was DMX with rap I'm a mother of four a grandmother of six a great grandmother of two and I'm not into rap but I used to love to listen to DMX and I will truly miss this young man. I started producing music over 20 years ago because of DMX, Swizz Beatz, and the rest of the Ruff Ryders. I was legit obsessed lol but DMX poured his heart and soul into a lot of his songs. He could get you hype, restore your faith, get on some cruddy shit, and take you on a journey. He's no lyricist but he was real af. I really felt that in The Great Depression, criminally underrated album. Rest in peace, I hope the pain and demons are off your back.

My favorite interview of all time on the breakfast club. I remember watching this interview when I was depressed and it just brought me through so much just seeing that he was authentic and NEVER pretending. I aint never seen any interview if him not being DMX. I love you man, forever!

Man DMX is a legend and I live his music. If only someone could have looked passed his addiction and still gave him the space to make his music. That's all he wanted. Like stop worrying about what I do and let me make music. I feel that. R.I.P

I am in shock hey. I'm a 78 baby, so I loved DMX (Earl). What's sadder, is my brother died on 9th April last year (here in Australia) so it's 10th today here, but we are STILL awaiting answers. He too, along with me were rejected as kids, and it really shapes you as a person. I can only send prayers to Earls family, friends and loved ones. RIP legend. DMX 🙏😥🥰

It's amazing how you can look at him when he's being asked a question and see in his eyes he's considering every word that's being said very carefully and responds with a perfect, honest and thoughtful reply to that question every single time.

Loved when he said i don't care how many letters the label has just give me what i need; proper promotion and creative control. I remember many years ago being a little Hispanic 16 year old trying to learn english and coming across his songs and making it my goal to not only listen but to understand every word in his songs. This helped me tremendously ☺️He will be missed.

Rip legend. Hopefully fighting those demons all of these years has lead to some peace in the next life.
