@dominicbrogsdale3348 He was made for it. I agree with you. Dark man X was the voice of the streets and the people, and we can all hear and feel the passion of his music, in my opinion. And his demons and struggles ended up being talked about more than his exceptional accomplishments. He’s accomplished stuff the majority of rappers still haven’t done till this day. I came up during the height of X’s rise, when he was SO BIG, and I remember buying his first and second album the same year in 1998 when I was a sophomore in high school. And I always loved how he was SO spiritual, and always incorporated his strong religious beliefs into his music. Nonetheless, I’m still saddened by his death, but also glad he’s at peace now. 🕊️ 🙏🏼

I cherish all the great memories and music he gave us and no matter what he always kept a close relationship with God. Just like I still miss 2 Pacs energy every day, I will forever miss Dmx's energy because it was something so serious!! When you grow up listening to a person's music over 10yrs it kinda feels like your growing up with them in a way. He did know how much he was loved and revered. He was genuinely but humbly always surprised at how much he received from so many. The problem was that he didn't think he was deserving of that love due to his faults and insecurities. Many people have said that. However, he kept on speaking the truth and being a genuine man because he loved it and other people loved it as well.

even when DMX just talks I feel like if you add a beat it would sound better than most rappers.
