Sad part is it’s not completely his fault he is the way he is. He was a stick up kid but his mentor who introduced him to rap, tricked him into smoking crack at 14 via a blunt laced with it. His music helped me when i was in a group home for over 5 years, slipping, let me fly, list goes on. DMX is a legend. Just wish i can let him know what his lyricism done for a poor Puerto Rican boy from Philly.

goddamn man, this guy has been through so much. when I was a teenager I listened to hip hop and r and b all of the time. I remember in middle school I won a contest at a local fair and got a dmx picture that I had in my room all through high school. I don't listen to that kind of music anymore but I can still appreciate his songs 'slippin' and 'who we be'
