Since 2001, WNLO-TV has been sister station to WIVB and the Buffalo market’s CW affiliate since 2006. WNLO is home to Western New York’s first and most-watched 10 p.m. newscast with a full hour of primetime news seven days a week.

(WIVB) ┄ A Lockport city lawmaker accused of harassment faced a judge on Monday (3 June 2024). Bizarre allegations are being made against Republican Alderman Mark Devine. He’s accused of urinating outside of his home, in front of his neighbor’s children. Devine made a quick exit from the courtroom on Monday morning, and did not make a comment to a News 4 photographer. News 4 is learning more about the criminal case against him from police statements we’ve received from the court clerk. Devine faces two counts of harassment in the second degree, which is a violation in New York state. The case dates back to April 11, when police received an initial report from a neighbor of Devine’s that the alderman allegedly urinated outside of his home, between a neighbor’s home, in the sight of children. Statements that Devine’s neighbors have given to police say that Devine has been seen urinating outside of his home on “multiple occasions in the past,” one time while a neighbor was buckling her daughter in a car, and on another occasion when children next door were just 10 feet away. Statements given to police said that Devine has been seen exposing himself, and that this type of behavior has been going on for at least two years, knowing that his neighbors are outside and present. “I would like to pursue charges, because I feel this is inappropriate and disgusting,” one neighbor told police. “I feel Devine should know better.” The case against Devine has been adjourned until July 1. News 4 has attempted to contact Devine multiple times, but has not heard back.

When police are asked about First Amendment Auditors they always use the word "bait". If they would simply ignore people who didn't commit crimes, they wouldn't have to worry about being baited. The real issue is that their qualified immunity protects them from almost any consequences for their illegal and unconstitutional actions. This essentially makes them above the law. Their current behavior in America is the natural result.

I watched it from a youtube short. Glad i found the complete video of the news. Im happy that the cop planned to resigned and was not fired instead. And he had a retirement plan. Police department was probably thinking of a way to compensate if not reward him for his achievements. If only the world is like the U.S.

This should be a job in every crevice of the United States. This is what is needed to inform the public of how law enforcement conducts themselves as public servants, hopefully with at least a modicum of humane civility. We the people are entitled to reach out to public and or federal entities as a united voice on matters we approve or highly disapprove of for swift resolution collectively with the masses concern. If anyone is inundated with an outpour of phone calls, those calls should be taken very seriously and directed to the appropriate authorities rather than complaints of receiving too many calls that are clearly addressing matters of a passionate public. Is this a form of Retaliation?! Luke should get a partner to help inform his locale.
