Hi Shawn, Yep I totally agree with what you’re saying it’s very convenient I like the way the thing works and just being able to packet and it’s all in one package

I have one and it's awesome to use, no more cables and a nice case that holds everything as well as charing on the go.

I made the switch over 2 years ago and it has been the best thing. Took a bit to fine-tune my workflow dealing with large amounts of data but I am very happy with it

Can you do a comparison video for DJI and Fulaim X5 wireless microphone set?

Hi. Good video. I notice you are using LumaFusion on iPad. Me too. I have a question. If you record from the two mics in stereo and then upload the footage to LF you have two channels (L+R). Is there an easy way to edit the two feeds/channels so that each channel then plays in each ear/side not just left or right? Thank you.

Nice review. A couple questions. Is it compatible with a Go Pro Hero 9 Black? Also a Nikon D850? Does this device record within the transmitter or does the transmitter just send the audio into the video recording device? Or both, meaning the transmitter itself records too? Thanks. Tom

Shawn, I video local concerts as a hobby with my Samsung S22 Ultra. Will using these work and get better audio quality? Once connected, and hit record on the phone, does the audio automatically record to whatever I'm video taping? I'm just starting to watch KZread videos about this set up. Thank you in advance.

Are the microphones at all directional or just omnidirectional? Can you set the mic audio levels independently? I could see a situation where you have one on person a bit further from their mouth or the speak more softly and another on someone who speaks loudly

Great video! Quick question, if you record with both mics at the same time(ex: using for interview), is this capable of having the files record separately or is it just one file?

You may have already found your answer, but if you didn't, the answer is yes, they record as 2 independent files.

Does he dji charging pack only charge the batteries to 85% to safe on batery lifespan?

I am trying to find a PnP Type C wireless interface for the Feyiu Pocket 2S. Has anyone interfaced the DJI Type C output with the Feyiu Pocket 2S? I am configuring a low-key production system and the DJI microphone would be perfect if it can be connected using the Type C connector and is electrically compatible. My existing audio gear is much larger traditional broadcast gear and I want to get much smaller and lower--key.

Great video again. Now, for a starter person like me, with a DJI MiniPro 3 RC...if I want to record while filming...is there anything else out there that would work? Or should I simply go all out and spend the $ to a DJI microphone like this one...I am NOT a tech person, but I can learn...but may not have the patience to...and may have the funds for the DJI microphone...worth it? in the long run? You can purchase a USB-C lav mic. I do believe that will work as well. You could always try it and then return it. If it doesn’t work for you. the only thing with plugging a Lavalier directly in there’s no way to adjust the gain if it’s too low to high.

Honestly DJI customer services know nothing about their own devices. They told me specifically that the DJI mic’s audio is only importable to PCs and that iPhones or iPads are not capable of of doing this. Yet here is someone who does exactly that. I went down an alternative route so DJI’s CS lost a sale due to their ignorance

@Air Photography Great video! I bought the Rode Wireless 2 a few months ago and it’s fine, but there are so many advantages to the DJI. My only concern is using a lab mic with the DJI. I heard that many mics cause buzzing interference. The Rode Lav Go mic works great with my setup now, but I don’t think that will work with the DJI.

Take a look at the Shure MVL. About $70. There is a vid on YT that tested several, and the Shure worked best.

I have both systems but I think the rode sounds slightly better than the Dji but, agree,not as convenient. All we need now is 32bit float

I use lumafusion to edit all my videos. I store all my footage on SSDs. I have 2 4tb Sandisks and they work great for archives and as working drives. In addition, i do have the 2tb version of the iPad Pro

The cable that charges the case, can it be stored inside the case itself when not in use?

You still need the media mod or the microphone adapter with GoPro but not the DJI Action 2 or 3

Can I plug in a Powerbank/external battery to the receiver during filming to enhance the running time? And switch the receiver on/off as I turn my Gopro on/off? And last but not least how long does it take to recharge the mics and receiver? Thanks a lot! Thumbs up ;)

yes, I believe you can. I never timed the recharging time. But it's never been an issue. I can easily get threw a whole day with plenty of power and they just recharge when i put them away.

Yeah, it is a great feature. Quite often I am using them just to record the audio source and then syncing later while editing.

How tough you find the DJI mic? Did it ever fall while clipping on the shirt?

It is never fallen after being mounted, even when using just the magnet. But my clumsiness has dropped the transmitter a few times and it’s never been damaged

@@AirPhotography Thanks. How tough you find removing the adapters from the receiver? Sometimes, I feel I am putting too much force on the receiver when holding it to remove the adapter. Was it normal for you also during the initial days?

I have been enjoying the DJI system, and our Rode wireless Go II hasn’t been charged in months…the Rode has good sound, but it just isn’t as good of a workflow.

I'm probably going to get the DJI mic set myself. I just hate how DJI makes you activate everything they sell. I couldn't use my DJI action camera until I activated it. DJI stuff is just so well made, I can't bring myself to boycott them. Dang it DJI, take some more of my money.

I'm kind of sick of my Wireless Go II's good points.

I like all the reasons, and may order one if I can find a whole tutorial on how to actually use it with a Go Pro, the DJI RC Pro, etc. I have never used a wireless microphone but would like to get whatever is easiest to use. I do know that I need an extra adapter to use a wireless mic. with the Go Pro.
