An outstanding guide, most useful. With no useful documentation provided I struggled to open the battery hatch, this explanation solved that, and far more.

I own the go3 allready. If i purchase only the go3s module (without a pod) Can i continue to use my go3 with its same pod it came with after updating its firmware and begin using it's (go3)pod with the go3s. Hoping i can switch between the two modules for instance, use one while the other is charging in the pod. What is the pairing process to have the pod recognize a new module? And once that "pairing" is completed, does the pod forget the prior paired module entirely? Would be nice if the pod remembers both and switches to the module that is powered on first? Or if the pod axes you, which available camera you would like to connect to. Does it have this capability? Thanks

Excellent tutorial bud. I noticed you said it doesn't have obstacle avoidance in return to home mode. But it does have it when normal operation correct?

When the Quick Reader imports the Inst360 Go3/Go3s clips and does it sort them on to your iPad's insta360 app according to when (date/time) they were recorded or is it sorted according to the date/time they are imported? I like to edit my vacation videos chronologically so i am wondering if i record Insta360 X4 footage and import them while storing several days worth onto the Go3 reader, will those Go3 clips from the reader get placed by the day they were shot and next to different X4 footage recorded at the same time..... or will all the days of Go3 clips on the reader got into the iPad as if they were all recorded on the same day? Hope this question makes sense.

Great post! I ordered and just got the controller 3 to go with my Motion Controller. You mentions using taking the tension out of the left stick to do all the manual flying. What about if you don’t? (Leave the tension on the left stick.) Not totally convinced on using Manual Mode, still a bit spoiled now using the motion controller!

Great video! I’m coming from a Phantom 4 and, previously, a Phantom 3 so I’m already experienced in flying DJI drones. But, I just got an Air 3 for my birthday today and your video is loaded with so much valuable info and clearly presented that I’m already feeling prepared to fly it! This was the perfect video to watch while my batteries are charging.

Imagine asking customers to update a product before using it ? Just think about asking the customer to do this in the 50’s or early 60’s Customer just update your rolls Royce timing or Mercedes braking system before driving. Ha ha!!!

Shawn, this is a great video highlighting what the reader can do. So what I'm about to say has nothing to do with the video but with the reader itself. This reader seems like a $45 solution to a problem that Insta360 doesn't want to solve with the Action Pod which is to make it USB 3.1 and give it the ability to plug directly into a tablet/phone with a cable. Considering the Go line of cameras has 128GB of storage, it can take as much as 2 hours to transfer via USB (2.0). It would be great if they fixed this on the Action Pod as it has become an Achilles heel.

Questions : With the cam plugged into a powerbank, it MOVES the file from the cam to the card. And with the reader plugged into the pod, does it also MOVE or COPY the contents automatically or it waits for user’s choice? Second question, what is the folder structure after each transfer? Lastly, if you use the same SD card between a Go3 and Go3S, what sort of folder structure will be in the SD card? Will the user be able to differentiate between which are from the Go3 and Go3S?

I have looked at hundreds of videos for the mini 2se and nothing, your video on the other hand was brilliant, very informative good explanation of how the different controls work, and a quick guide around the fly app, so guess what, after work today I’m gonna give it a go. Thanks again looking forward to the next video.

My Mini 4 Pro is scheduled to land on my front porch tomorrow, so this excellent vid has been a textbook bullseye. Thanks a million. Sub'd. Between you and Ted Nemetz, a no0b hardly needs more guidance until we get a ways out in experience. Safe flying!
