This is a realistic build. These hiccups happen to everyone! Beautiful coffee table

My wife wanted a round coffee table to go with the new sectional sofa, but the price was at the furniture store where we bought the sofa was close to $500.00, and by the way I live in Canada, so prices are outrageous and this was a few years ago. So my wife showed me your video on how to build your own round coffee table top and bottom,so I built it and it only cost me $93.00 in lumber ( Canadian prices). Thanks for awesome video ideas.

I have experienced warping with the smaller version of this tabletop. I would recommend attaching the top with clips or use another method to allow for wood movement across the width of those laminated boards.

I’ve seen builders talk about diy furniture like this and how the lumber shouldn’t be used off the shelf. It needs months to fully dry out.

Clips? Like brackets? Can you elaborate on that please? I saw another video that used Z clips and no glue. I am learning and appreciate the tips
