Deifio’n ôl i Longddrylliad y Bronze Bell gan Alison James, MSDS Marine, ar ran y Prosiect CHERISH
Yn 2021 fe gafodd MSDS Marine ei gomisiynu gan y Prosiect CHERISH i ymgymryd â chyfres o ddeifiau ar safle llongddrylliad y Bronze Bell. Y tro diwethaf i’r safle gael ei archwilio gan gontractwr archaeolegol oedd yn 2004. Fe gafodd effaith newid hinsawdd ar y llong ei hasesu am y tro cyntaf yn ystod y rhaglen ddeifio ddiweddaraf. Diving Back onto the Bronze Bell Wreck by Alison James, MSDS Marine on behalf of the CHERISH Project
In 2021 MSDS Marine were commissioned by the CHERISH Project to undertake a programme of diving on the Bronze Bell protected wreck site. The wreck was last visited by an archaeological contractor in 2004. In addition, this visit was the first to assess the impact of climate change on the wreck. In this talk Alison James from MSDS Marine gives an update on the diving fieldwork and discusses the findings.
