Disgaea 7 is pretty good, but so is Dismania's art.

Toilet-paper filled trashcan, poo smeared on the inside of the toilet bowl, and a uses toilet paper roll hanging on the rack with no extra rolls in sight. Perfect spot for Disgaea 6 lol

Disgaea 7 and Dismania are the best!

For pure game play, extras, balance, I think Disgaea 5 was the best in the series. With a few additions from later games to ease the grind it would be the perfect game in the series. I payed 500 hours of d Disgaea 2 and hundreds in Disgaea 1. Skipped Disgaea 3 and played a bit of 4 but D5 is so good. D7 has an edge in how satisfying some of the mechanics can be and how powerful it makes you feel. Like beating Baal and Carnage Baal around the time you unlock LoC felt crazy to me with just 20mil in stats You really should use the juice bar though, it's a really useful and almost necessary mechanic.

I have to agree D5 is the best. Been playing since 1 on DS and I definitely replay D5 the most. The gameplay is just too good compared to all the rest. They really hit a sweet spot, but like you said, some of the later mechanics added would've made it perfect. The story is forgettable, but I never really cared about Disgaea's story after Disgaea 1.

I honestly went back to D5 after finishing D7 and realizing I forgot the story of D5 enough to play it. Like I will give D7 credit that it brought back the Disgaea itch, but it's still missing something. I also feel like a whole arc was missing from Ao and Pirilika But, It also restored my faith that Disgaea can make it's way back up.

If you edited Dismania's Cee four art, shouldn't you report it to him?
