I like how Hoyo is like yeah we figured out the perfect math, 90 wishes on a curve, now we use it for all our games.

Miyabi not being in CBT2 is probably due to them making her in a banner as a 5 star later, cuz she technically was the fan favorite to play. So.

Not really surprised. For the three Hoyoverse games I've played the first character trailer has always been a 4-Star (Kaeya, March, and now Billy).

Does the pity system carry over to the next available banner if you didn't get a 5 star before the current banner expires?

@@softjytsu the combat feels smoother & less clunkier then honkai & they have unique designs aswell as a vibrant theme. hi3 uses similar color palletes for designs & now leans for a desaturated modern scifi theme. it's not in honkaiverse, so it wont get honkai characters/similarities like genshin or hsr hence imo i feel like its their most unique game so far. but it just matters if the game will be good & if they can fix it's problems when its out, it still has a lot of disappoints.

@@user-mk1ug9ci2e guess its just me then most hi3 characters combat looks good but feels clunky meanwhile zzz combat feels fluid, switching the characters has no cooldown and the transitions you get between them are great. the only thing hi3 has in combat thats better is the ultimates but honestly i rather have shorter ultimates in zzz then hi3's so i dont mind the ultimates not being that special

They should honestly give us more then 60fps for those who have higher refresh rate monitors seeing 60fps on +60hz monitor is pain to look at even with vsync in star rail it doesn't matter that much but in Genshin it's harsh honkai impact that thing is doing whatever it wants I can't seem to get it to behave correctly meaning like half of the time in gameplay the GPU is packed to almost 100% and in combat it even drops sometimes to below 60fps somehow running a radeon RX 6800 which is more then enough to run game like this I think it's running uncapped but every fps reporting software reports 60 and it feels smoother then 60

i've playing hsr and genshin with 120 fps on pc, that feature literally under 3 letters in system files, playing since the beginning in both games and feels ok, idk why they limit it

It's still beta, so likely just haven't finished something about her be it her signature core or maybe even voice as many characters are yet to have va introduction in english and korean. Tho I think it's the later

Damn, even though I never was a big fan of Nicole's design, the fact that they're censoring a 16+ game like this already, pisses me off quite a bit. I don't understand why they make these types of designs only to walk back on them, either they make them tame from the beginning or they stop with this behaviour, it's getting really annoying.

Well, I could understand wanting everybody possible to see (and possibly, archive) your intended art before having to ask the government for permission to sell access to it. That doesn't mean I like it either, but I don't think this is the idea of the people who designed her - they were just already prepared for this to happen.

@@DanaOtken I still don't think it's good practice to advertise something for a full year like that and then changing it last minute. And if it came to it, they could just let global have the original design as an option rather than forcing everybody to comply with CN. They've already done this for Jean, Mona, Rosaria and Amber in genshin, it doesn't matter if CN gets pissed that Global gets stuff that they don't, that's just egotistical.

@@masterspider2032 Cannot disagree, but they also make and can at any time change the rules on what businesses in their country are allowed to do. It is possible they no longer like the idea of allowing separate global releases. It's also possible that this closed beta has observers who aren't to be talked about and need to be shown a specific version in the hope they'll be more amenable to other versions later. I don't have perspective here on what's going on. A bit happy that there were people who were there for the previous closed betas, and some of them probably made backups of the client files. At the least, we've definitely got a lot of video footage being used to compare.

She will be back, just not in the beta, probably haven't finished voicing her in all languages, she hasn't been removed from website. Also removing a whole playable char is wasting too much work

However, Hoyoverse had a really bad incident where one of their CEOs was almost killed simply because they ran a fanservice bikini event for global only, and not for CN. They won't do anything now that can upset their CN community after that. That's why they still stick to mostly China standards for how they dress their characters instead of making them hotter for Global only. That's also probably why they go after mods that can change how characters look as well as their outfits, because their CN community can't do the same legally and might get pissed off at Hoyoverse if they don't do something to prevent us from modding.

its a Hoyo game, they'll make you work for it, it takes roughly 30 mins of gameplay or so even if you skip everything for HSR and GI to get to the gacha screen, all in all Hoyo really don't want you to reroll much unless you're REALLY willing to waste hours on end

u forgot the most important thing bro , they nerf their outfit !! isnt this game 16+ ? that was so sad

CBT2 feels bad with the current energy system. I enjoy the HollowTV puzzles and the combat equally, but I do admit that they're both a bit too easy. The censorship thing was done tastefully to match the comic book style cutscenes, so I appreciate the consistency there. Also, not being able to run around as my favorite character makes me not want to roll. I think its a solid F2P gacha option as spending wouldn't really get you anything. I got a good taste of what the current state of the game is, so I'll be putting it down till next CBT. Snake gang rise up.

They kinda don't have a choice anymore after genshin became popular. When it was just ggz and honkai impact they could fly under the radar with the fanservice because they werent well known in the west. When genshin became a hit while it brought way more love to mihoyo it also brought them under notice of the chinese government because china is very critical about what they allow amd they REALLY don't like the western influence on things either. In china they dont allow western social media apps like facebook,tiktok and twitter. So when this game came out they got under notice

I was really hoping they woud change the TV minigame from CBT1 in favor of longer combat stages, but it seems like it's still 80% TV puzzle 20% combat, at least for the story. Really disappointing, so far this looks like Honkai Impact 3d but with a different theme. Also the combat at the beginning looks incredibly easy, whish they stopped doing that and offered a challenge....

​@kiuhh1118 It's not even a challenge issue tbh, it's an engagement issue. Barely anybody likes the TV sections, more people like the actual combat, so they should minimize that gamemode and add more combat. It's as simple as that.

Imagine Genshin with knockers like in this game. Hoyo would sell 2x more.

Nicole nerf and other characters/story censorship really killed my hype im ngl. 16+ game was expecting something more mature but censorship had other ideas. Hope they think this through before release.

Mihoyo keeps making new games with features people ask for in their older games and instead of pushing quality of life and maintaining the other community they rather put that thing in a new game, some how makes me feel like they are not in for the long run in any of their games they just want the first few years hype rinse and repeat.

The problem with QoL is only in Genshin, in HG2, HI3rd, HSR and ZZZ everything is fine.

​@@MA-lz7vci think they have covered the most popular genres (Open World, hack n slash, RPG and turn based) I don't think they will release more games for a big while

4:29 that girl looked out of place, they need to revamp the model....

This game seems pretty good, but the amount of similarities with genshin is insane, i hoped we get a totally new designed game :(

Idk . It feels like a battle royale game. No fantasy means boring game imo. Plus nerfing the character charm. ZZZ indeed

how the hell does it feel like a battle royale game ? it's not even multiplayer. But from your opinion which is "No fantasy means boring game", I guess you should stick with Minecradt and Fornite. and "Nerfing the character charm" ? so I guess you're the same with those who cries over some anime breast pixels lmao.
