What surprises me most about the drinking is how small the amount of wine they have in their glass! I always fill it to the brim to get the most amount in my glass

Just an AMAZING presentation! Absolutely everything about it! Graphics etc. But the subject matter! Wow! I've only been to (Beaune) once but I'll never forget it.. I wish I had a wine-loving Friend to travel there with again. My GF is French but she doesn't share the same passion for wine that I have...sigh.

Life is too short to drink cheap wine. Just seeing the line up of glasses with La Tache at 8:11 is simply amazing. You can sense the age of the wine from the cloudy red liquid as he's pouring. Do all pinots turn that way as they age?

Yes. I had the pleasure of trying a Pinot noir from 1256 and it was brown . It drank wonderfully

In my "vinyard" - I would choose NO LIMESTONES - at all, but good quality plant and fruit "producing" humuslike soils and a good drainage, nothing more, nothing less!

For me, the BEST WINE are those that are OXFAM produced, especially the AFRICAN wines! They have not overbearing tannines and not too overbearing alcohol "gehalte"!
