The canal is really a great thing to do. As you said you can bike or walk along the canal and visit all the beautiful villages like Chateauneuf en auxois. Perfect plan for chilling out.

Not very far from Dijon. A small village called Sainte Marie sur Ouche if we remember correctly.

Very hard question to answer, not knowing what you like. Domaine Senard took care of us very well. But the landscapes around Pouilly Fuissé were the most beautiful.
