I love the LCBO wine series. I'm proud and worked hard to buy 2012 Château Margaux and Château Mouton Rothschild. This year's mother's day I will surprise my mother with 2012 Château Margaux. Later this year, for father's day, I will surprise my dad with the 2012 Château Mouton Rothschild. Also I do love Italian wines as well. My major weakness is Château d'Yquem

+John Collins I served and drank with family and close friends with the fallowing: 1984 d'Yquem ($355, my birth year, bad vintage), 2003 375mL ($180.00), two bottles of 2004 375mL ($164.00), half bottle of 2008 ($149.00), and 2011375mL ($249.99). Currently in my cellar is 750mL of 2002 d'Yquem ($289.99), two bottled of 2012 Château Margaux, one bottle of 2012 Château Mouton Rothschld, 2012 Château Pontet Canet, 2012 Château Clerc Milon, and two bottles of 375mL Château Coutet

+John Collins Nice. I seen someone stored a 1982, 1983, and 1988, and 1989 Chateau Margaux was low as $90 during the 80s. Hell d'Yquem was cheap years ago due to oil crisis. Are you for real, $30 dollars of 1966 Romanee-Conti. I can afford most of first growth bordeaux wines but Romanee-Conti and Petrus are out of my reach. One day I will get a Romanee-Conti La Tache and share with my family and very close friends

Such a lovely video! Had to see it several times! It was interesting to hear that the French know that our wine here in California (Napa) is right on the heels of the Bordeaux wine, as far as quality is concerned! The French are always working to improve their wines, instead of just resting on their laurels! I love both Bordeaux and California Cabernet Sauvignon wines! Great job on this video! Thanks!❤️

There is some inaccurate information regarding Pomerol. From my knowledge Chateau Gazin holds most of the prime plateau terroir, shared of course by those mentioned. I am somewhat surprised therefore that chateau Gazin has not been mentioned! This is an important fact if you want to talk seriously about Pomerol.

I'm looking to buy some(?) bottles of ducru-beaucaillou for my daughter and son-in-law. The 2013 vintage available in April 2016 would do very nicely as they were wed last year. Its present price tag is $175/bottle and according to John C. Dvorak will become a valuable wine and a great gift to savour and enjoy at an anniversary. My problem or rather theirs is is how best to store it which unfortunately this L CBO production did not address. They have a wine fridge. Is that okay?

yepp, flat on it's side so your cork won't get dry, possibly between 12-15 celsius and in dark. Like a cellar.
