In the ancient year of 2000, Disney pushed the boundaries for their new film, Dinosaur. Not only by using computer animation, but combining it all with live action backgrounds... did it work? Maybe at the time, but not so much now! Jack was a huge fan of Dinosaur as a small child, and that's where NOC comes into play! Watch as Jack remembers way too many obscure lines and Robby is awestruck by several shocking scenes...

This movie actually caused me to start having nightmares about the apocalypse, and it's never stopped since, I'm twenty now and I've been having these nightmares for over a decade. Also the carnitor stomping around the corner slowly in a zoomed out wide shot absolutely fucking terrified me as a kid, even seeing it in this video now made my skin crawl a little.

You're not far off on the biblical allusions. Fun fact: the characters of Aladar, Kron and Zini were originally named Noah, Cain and Adam respectively. Moreover, the story was meant to be about quote "Noah, who had the ability to see visions of the future, foreseeing the coming of an asteroid and struggling to guide a herd of other dinosaurs to safety" unquote. Also, this film apparent spawned from an idea of Paul Verhoeven, director of satire films like Robocop, Showgirls and Basic Instinct. Fucking insane production history.

its not from a movie, but there is an obscure tv show quote my mom and i still say all the time. it's a line from "the suite life of zack and cody", the episode where maddie and london get a double date with two fraternal twins, and the annoying twin constantly brings up random facts by saying "DiD yOu kNOw..." that episode aired literally 16 years ago, and whenever we bring up topics/trivia, we always say that quote in the exact cadence as the character in the show lmao

FINALLY, AN EXCUSE TO TALK ABOUT MY OBSCURE FAMILY JOKE! in my family, particularly between my dad and I, we constantly say quotes from the emperor's new groove. but SPECIFICALLY from the Slovak dub. we're convinced its the funniest dub ever, but also actually good? of course I can't explain it because the humour is so cultural and gets lost in translation, but there's something about that dubs delivery that makes us laugh every time we re-watch or reference it. it's so incredibly niche of us, cause it's the dub of a less popular Disney film, in one of the least spoken European languages and we're from a country that barely has any 'cult-movie culture' or humour that my family has. also on the subject of the dinosaur movie; I watched this so much as a kid. on repeat. if you met me you'd see how obviously I had a dinosaur phase as a kid. I even named my favourite dinosaur figure (it was a tiny, blue allosaurus with a black stripe on its back) after Aladar. Unfortunately, I lost him at a public pool and haven't seen him in more than a decade now :( anyways, thanks for the commentary guys! you're easily my favourite and funniest reaction channel rn. keep up the great work!

My family's weird movie quote definitely has to be "sending [something] to the cornfield". It's a reference to the Twilight Zone episode about the little boy who wants everyone to do everything he wants, or else he'll send them to a frightening "cornfield" that's left a mystery to the viewer. Among my family, though, sending something to the cornfield - like an old couch or a pizza box, for example - means we've got to retire something old and throw it out.

I remember the intro part of the egg going on it's journey was the initial trailer they had in theatres. I forget which movie my family was watching, maybe Tarzan or Toy Story 2, but we immediately knew which movie we wanted to see next.

My entire family knows about this (my mother calls the movie Aladar and she mixes up Eema and Baileen). I, and by extension my family, had no idea this movie wasn't well recieved. We just loved this movie and we pass it on to my nieces and nephews. Finding out it's unpopular never changed my opinion of it. I still absolutely love it. And last time I checked, people are starting to recognize this as of late. Back then, I've only ever seen one movie reaction video and one commentary. Now there's like four reaction videos, love it.
