This qwalli is the ultimate qawali.i started listening this qawali when I was teenager, since then heard it numerous times but still I feel same junun for it.

Peeyush sharma ji,you have got great knowledge of hindi film music.I am listening Hindi film music since 1961.I enjoyed your this episode very much.Yeh ishk ishk hai- is my favourite qwalli especially Rafi portion.You only talked about Sahir ,not much about Roshan music which is atma of this song.Those days songs were recorded at night. This qwalli took whole night to record.

AR Rahman's Ishq Bina Kya Jeena Yaron (Film: Taal, 1998) is inspired from Na To Karawan Ki Talash. Also Na To Karawan Ki Talash is not an original composition. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's father and uncle sang the original before.
