    Someone at Dji needs to be kicked in the nuts for naming the Google 2 when there is a Goggle V2. Way to confuse the shit out of new potential customers and force them to question your ability to make good decisions as a company going forward.

    :) Tell me about it! The best explaination I heard about this is that it's kind of like we have the Goggles 1 V1, Goggles 1 V2, and then Goggles 2. The V2 is supposed to still be a Goggles 1. I agree so confusing, especially for those new to the ecosystem!

    @hamp7803 Жыл бұрын

    The fit for the Goggles 2 can be the same as the V2 if you change the cushion and rear strap like you did with the V2. At first I TRULY hated the goggles 2 because of the fit on my nose. The rear elastic strap was tried first and I instantly noticed the nose difference. The new fit was nice that I thought I didn't need/want the cushion, but when the cusion came in the mail, I tested and no more complaints from me. I don't like the velcro attachment used for the cushion, and I look forward to some company making it connect to the goggles like the original.

    @@Mangorille , the cushion is some generic made I bought off of Amazon. I believe they were from a seller overseas. I think I paid $10(coupon). The ones I have give an option for $2 more to get the protection cover for thr lens(I didn't get). As far as the blurry edges, that goes away just by adjusting the goggles on your face. I was frustrated at first with the blurred edges, because I knew I carefully adjusted the lens.

    I have a smaller than average cranium, and as a result my eyes are closer together than average as well (when purchasing eye glasses I typically have to by the smallest frames with the narrowest bridge gap available to fit correctly). Often I find it difficult if not impossible to get the individual lens close enough together for me to see clearly with things like older FPV goggles or even binoculars are often too far apart even when folded as close as possible. I also wear prescription glasses and fitting my glasses inside goggles has always been a problem. Given these facts, it looks as though the new Goggles 2 would be the clear choice for me. Narrower face conformity? Built in adjustable diopters, as well as the lens being closer together relatively speaking. Am I correct in these assumptions based on your review? Thank you for your review! I have several questions: 1) Will original remote (I guess it's V1) that worked with o1 unit, work with o3? I'd like to refresh my FVP drone by upgrading o1 to o3 and I'd like to keep my original remote for a while. 2) What's going on with aftermarket support of Goggles 2 today? I mean if there are already nice and soft pads available. 3) Is it possible to keep the battery behind your head on a strap when you're using Goggles 2? I have Goggles V1, and sometimes it's pretty uncomfortable to keep battery in the pocket. 4) Does the cord falls out the Goggles 2 as easy as it falls out from Goggles V1? I noticed it's easy to suddenly disconnect the cord from V1, therefore you can instantly lose control of your drone. Thank you.

    Welcome. 1 - No, the black DJI remote does not work with the O3. You need the controller 2. 2 - What kind of aftermarket support? There are pads, antenna, etc. available for the Goggles 2 now. 3 - Yes, you can find a strap that has a battery holder or you can zip tie the battery to the strap. It won't do that out of the box but you can get a bit inventive with it. 4 - Yes it falls out even easier, I just zip tie the cable to the head strap loop so that it doesn't get pulled out. I did the same with the Goggles V1. See this: kzread.info/dash/bejne/eIaczNGon9i1pso.html

    So this is a very interesting question as I still have the V2 and the Goggles 2. Looking back at the last couple months, I've been flying both of them nearly equally if not maybe the V2 a tad bit more. I really like the HD OSD on the V2 which keeps taking me back there but the image quality on the O3, the portability on the goggles, and the fact that I can so easily record the OSD embedded into the video take me there. Funny enough I use the V2 for the Vista quad and the Goggles 2 for any quad with the O3. Perhaps I'll fully switch over to the Goggles 2 once HD OSD is available for it (I heard DJI is working on it)

    @@Mangorille you get latency recorded in SRT files if you turn that feature on in recording settings. HQ mode (60fps) should have same latency on both, but low latency mode (120 on V2 and 100 on G2) should be 2-3ms higher on G2 due to lower refresh rate. Bigger issue that I'm surprised isn't mentioned here is how the screen refresh rate limits your onboard recording options.
