I can see yall don’t understand business at all. Diddy was bought out and he made. Nothing was taken from him. He made an estimated $350M off this sell. He invested only $20M to help start the company in 2013. So he made major profits.

Dame is right. It makes sense. There was no sale. It was just a transfer. My guess is that Revolt was not profitable to begin with and not worth much, if anything, at all. If it was, there would have been major bidders. I don't think there was a true ownership structure as an income producing entity. It was instead a line item of a larger conglomerate that wrote it off as a loss and transfer named ownership as a formality. Maybe it went from one charitable foundation to another. Stop believing these celeb stories in general. The whole thing is like the Wizard of OZ. It isn't real. Its power only lies in making you believe it's real.

This move with a majority Black employees ownership is a living model of how every successful corporation that caters to Black people should be structured... The employees (and community) must have a stake in the business outcome!! My hat's off to Diddy! Imagine if Bob Johnson solded BET to its employees (and the Black community)... They would have made major strides in Black folk controlling our media... Lastly, there are highly successful businesses around the globe that use this model... It works!!

You might be surprised at the diversity of industries and their successes. Imagine with me for a moment... When Obama (US Gov) bailed out the big three car manufacturers.
