I'm down with seeing anything with Cube & Mike Epps together getting into trouble some type of shenanigans. As long as u got those 2, it'll at the very least be funny. Realistically, Deebo wouldn't be in the next one cause dude escaped from Prison n got locked back up lol. Would make more sense if Terry Crews character came back lookin for Money Mike. I think for me personally i wont believe in a Last Friday movie neither til i see them ACTUALLY filming it were you see tweets about the cast on set you see Cube, Mike, Don DC, Anna Maria, and even Katt Williams on set filming it cause they have been talking about it since forever now, but anyone who has done they research it wasnt really never Cube's fault it was New Line Cinema who funded all the Friday movies that didnt wanna give Cube the budget to pay all the comedians cause im sure they wanted to give him a Friday 1 budget for them after the Xmas Friday came out at that time Mike, John Witherspoon and Katt alone were worth more money than that and if Chris Tucker came back he would wanna get paid Cube knew this thats why he was and is still fighting for the movie to be made cause New Line wanted to be cheap but now with the success of Bad Boys, and Beverly Hills Cop 4 on the way Cube can still pull it off with everyone from all 3 movies i wouldnt want to seen any new comedians in it neither even though i like Tiffany Haddish, Kevin Hart, DC Young Fly, Kountry Wayne or any of them plz dont bring them into Friday you may can with DC cause say if Smokey's character has a son cause of his new life then DC would be perfect for that role but as a Friday fan i wont be moved by it neither until we know a date of production, an actually trailer and or a some of the cast tweeting about it, but without Pops and Deebo it will be a tough one to watch cause they were big time.

Completely agree with John's frustration over the studios' reluctance to finance our stuff. And as for the people claiming they "moved on" from waiting for another Friday movie- well keep it movin'! There are several franchises and sequels that took years- even decades for some- to be continued. If you're still alive to see it- and it's done right- why not go and support?

It’s iconic it’s history it’s SPECIAL to our community. i’m 29 and my cousins within 15 years of either direction loved this classic. Bottom Line it’s less important if the cast is the same…it will never be. If you are going to do it just make sure it’s good and you do it right! no more need to be said. Cube know what to do and i trust him! Go head Cube!

Let's be honest; there are a lot of franchises worse than Friday that has been doing revival shows/movies! Despite the masses claiming they have moved on, I think the movie would still make a lot of money. Honestly, I'd rather see the cast work on something else. However, the nostalgia factor is still hot nowadays so it's gonna happen whether we want it to or not...

Another day of us Black folks being overly critical for no reason or a reason that doesn't even matter.

The narrator needs to give Bernie Mac his respect too. It was the cinemas fault. But because of the multiple deaths of most of the funny characters, they just need to call it something else. Honestly, Last Friday should have came out in the 2010s and the same thing can be said about White Chicks 2. Seriously if it takes THIS LONG for a sequel (10 years+) don't even bother because it's almost always never as good as the last one. The only exception I can think of is MiB 3 but a lot of people didn't like MiB 2 so 🤷🏾‍♂️

As far as the possibility of funds to be made, Friday couldve/shouldve been a Fast n Furious type of franchise. A first for comedies.

Chris Tucker needs to come back. I know hes said he doesnt want to promote smoking, but this movie can be a look into these characters lives as theyve evolved over the years. Smokey couldve quit drugs and now a change man. Include a teachable moment that made the first special, maybe somehow connecting it to what pops said about living to see another day. Have everyone back if possible. And ultimately make this a celebration and dedicated it to the ones who passed along the way.

This is true. The amount of money that he made in rush-hour was massive compared to the Friday movie -this is Show “Business”… not show up JUST to have fun. How can you have fun when you’re getting Lower than what you are worth… No one wants to get paid LESS than their last quote. Everyone wants to see Chris, but I believe it’s going to come down to the numbers. Not sure I would be mad at him about that.

Wasn't 3 enough? They waited too long, in the first place, and all you'll going to get is how old they are, just like a lot of movies do these days, when actors have reached a certain age. On top of that a big fail is not even getting Smoky back. Chris Tucker's change maybe, could have been worked into the movie. The character could have shown how much he grew as a person Characters don't always have to remain the same people 20 and 30 years later. I've seen tons of remakes that happened years later with no character change, and the movies always bomb. Dumber And Dumber is a prime example.

They can even bring back the little kid on the bike in some capacity

John never disappoints with the demand.

Don't forget the late great Bernie Mac and Yvette Wilson who played Andele Wilkerson from the Parkers who are no longer with us. Let it go at this point.
