Watching a ton of Warriors games, it became clear to me last season that Poole didn't know the playbook, and often broke up plays, which pissed off a lot of his teammates. If you watch a lot of his "iso" plays, you can often tell, a play wasn't made for him to have an iso, he just chose to do so, because he felt he had an advantage. That viral video of him on the Wizards, where the coach is drawing out a play, and he's clearly not paying attention just shows me he's carried that approach to the Wizards.

@@isaiahwolf5904stop it! Steph didn't "make" any of those original championship Warriors players, it was just the right combination of talented players, team first players, and every one of them was hungry at the same time. Now where you really went off the rails, Steph and the Warriors needed KD to continue their dynasty, not the other way around. Had KD chose to stay with the Thunder for that next season, there was a high probability that the Thunder would have eventually knocked off the Warriors, The cavaliers had already KO'ed them in the finals, so it was more than likely a foregone conclusion that it would have been KD vs LeBron and the finals; but hindsight is 20/20.

If they had to choose between a guy who gets ejections, but his on court is setting teammates up while giving hard defense. Over a guy who's out of control and doesn't play defense at all while taking up shots (even taking the game tying shot in the playoffs while Klay and Steph out there). I think when he got traded to the Wizards, he had to gas himself up since he probably knew he was going to a terrible team. He tried to take over and do his thing because honestly he's the best player maybe other than Kuzma on the team. That experiment did NOT work and I think he's just trying to figure himself out and the role he should have on a team. Poole is still pretty young, and he went from being the 3rd option on a team to essentially leading the floor. The Warriors were planning on building around him for post-curry for a reason. The potential is there, he's just not ready yet. If the whole Draymond situation didn't happen, I think he'd be steadily improving with the Warriors, but instead he's kicked out to an org that doesn't know what to do with him.

They get offered millions of dollars in contracts and sponsorships even before they prove anything. And then, once the money comes in, they lose focus and passion for the game. He has elite speed and can get to the rim against almost anyone. But all he seems to care about is his point total. He's grown lazy on defense and if he doesn't have the ball, he just sort of runs around. Like he doesn't even know the play he's in. And when he gets the ball, he just wants to attack his defender and be the one to take the shot...

Yep, At one point people were saying Kevin Durant was the greatest player in the world, all because of Steph's presence giving KD easy looks. But I also think Draymond, Klay, and Curry as a trio makes any 4th, 5th, or 6th look better.

Jordan poole just going through a mental phase right now. I for sure know everything leading up to this day has affected him. Jordan poole would of been more locked in and focused on the team that drafted him if Draymond didn’t punch him out. Things like this definitely affects a persons metal state. I know Jordan poole is going through it trying to overcome the weight of the world & the media. I know for sure Jordan Poole would of still been developing that skill set required to dominate in the warriors. He’s a good player he just needs guidance. He’s not fully ready to lead at team. He wasn’t ready for such a big role. But he definitely can he just has to work harder than most. We’ll see how Jordan poole ends up at the end of the season.

The end of his second season and the championship season he was a great teammate that all the guys loved but for whatever reason over the summer and going into training camp the dude just lost the plot. Ever since training camp 2022 he’s been on the downhill looking worse and worse every game and it’s extremely sad considering how some people (like my dad) really wanted to believe he was Steph’s successor and that we weren’t gonna have to rebuild. But thanks to him and wiseman it’s looking like we are gonna need to rebuild here soon.
