Jordan Poole Is Trying To Be Someone HE'S NOT!!!

Спорт

Jordan Poole Is Trying To Be Someone HE'S NOT according to Gilbert Arenas as he and The Gil's Arena Crew Discuss Poole's horrific struggles for the Washington Wizards this season and debate whether or not he needs to return to a bench role on a contender if we ever want to see the same player we saw for Golden State Warriors.
Gil’s Arena premieres every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 11:30am PT / 2:30pm ET.

I went to a Wizards game 2 weeks ago and saw Poole in person. Brotha is on the court playing like he's at the local rec center. He was in his own world. With 3 minutes left in a close game, Poole was on the bench with a towel over his head...He didn't check back into the game after halftime. Something is wrong and they aren't telling.

When he went back to Golden State to play against them the look in his eyes and the smile on his face spoke volumes and that tribute video showing him watching broke my heart, that man was devastated to be traded from a team he got drafted to and won a chip with, he misses the hell out of Steph Curry, Klay, Looney (who's from Milwaukee too who he has a very strong bond with) and Wiggins, they had such a close relationship too and believe it or not he truly and genuinely loved even Draymond too but no one talks about how Poole and his boy was constantly hanging out at Draymond's house almost every day especially during the pandemic, then a guy who he looked up to knocked him tf out and everyone saw it, I can't imagine his thought process. Golden State is his team and trust and believe he still feels that way and it's so obvious and he's not wrong for feeling that way in my opinion...damn you Draymond, out of all the people in basketball you can't do your own teammate like that and now he went from a team worth billions who is labeled "America's favorite basketball team" to the damn Wizards smh🤦🏾‍♀

As a warrior fan who watches every game, Poole’s 20ppg last year is deceiving on the stat sheet and I don’t like how Gil makes that topic black and white. A lot of Poole’s points came in garbage time of the blow outs and his efficiency was pretty bad too. That 20 ppg also came with TO’s and horrible off ball movements. It’s still saddens me with how Poole ended with the warriors. I loved watching him get better with us and contribute to the championship. It’s too bad him and dray scrapped

You talk winning but forget they went 11-30 on the road last year and at home the the role players and everyone else as a team played really well which is why we had a winning home record. Poole’s 20ppg didn’t mean shit with the worst road record in the league damn near. Yes, we miss Jordan’s offense but that’s only because no one stepped in to fill his role this year like usual. Again, if you ACTUALLY watched the games, Poole’s efficiency was horrible and he ruined plays while being the worst defender on the floor. Poole is learning early what Kyrie left the Cavs to learn that system that was tailor made to free you up to go off isn't there anymore and now you have to play twice as hard for half the results and with people you don't have the history with. Kyrie was shielded from critics because Lebron took the majority of any negativity. Where with Poole he was shielded by Draymond Curry AND Klay.
